Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SqueezeSlave and Internet Radio
Hi Ralphy, Thanks for the reply advise. Seems that Andy G. and others saw this a month ago, I'm just catching up. I think I understand that the problem is in SC 7.4+ and that there is a "work-around" by using on-th-fly trans-coding, but it is not clear how to do this on a WinXP box (AndyGs' VortexBox = Linux). Suggestions ? I used the Classic theme (as you suggested), but the results were same. In the mean time I do have SoftSqueeze running, but "Slave" would be the preferred solution. Thanks in advance. [SlimDevices: Plugins] SqueezeSlave and Internet Radio
Hello Ralphy et al., Thanks for all your hard work on SqueezSlave. Maybe someone can offer help on an issue I have been seeing The problem as follows: SS will work fine if I only connect to local(My Music) FLAC and MP3 collection. However, once I switch to Internet Radio, only the first station selected plays. All selections thereafter result in nothing. No sound. This includes all local files as well. I have tried starting SS as a service and manually launching the .exe with many variations of options, but still Internet Radio will only play once. The service appears to be running fine as does the task. I read tons of forum threads but I haven't seen any matches for this issue. SC = 7.4, SS = 0.9-95 Has anyone seen this behavior ? Suggestions ? Thanks Much !! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to remove Applets on the SBC
Here is the solution I found. Use the Server web interface and select "My Apps" tab. There is an "Uninstall" button top right corner. This worked for me. A similar method should be available on the SBC, but currently does not exist. Maybe in later versions ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to remove Applets on the SBC
Unless I'm mistaken, this issue is still un-resolved. I too would like a method to "clean out" some of those applets that just don't interest me. These are the applets in the "My Apps" section of the Sqz Box Controller. Curious thing that the developers work so hard for seamless integration of apps but neglect a method for end users to un-install to suite their own tastes. Don't get me wrong, I think the SBC and technology behind it is AWESOME; it's my favorite toy and even the wife has become a fan ! Thoughts ??
