Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)
After opening up the suggested port, and ensuring that Norton wasn't blocking the helper (which it wasn't) and a couple of restarts all is good here. It may have been the port that was stopping it, or perhaps an update to the pluging? I have no idea. However it is working again and for that thank you. This is a brilliant plugin that brings so much utility to the LMS universe. I initially missed it, but now I've discovered it, it makes so many little things easy, so thank you very much for all your hard work. Hi Just a quick question Does anybody else find that SS 6.3 crashes after doing an import from itunes? As far as I can see all the data/ratings/playcounts are correctly imported, and until it crashes, everything looks normal. Unfortunately I have no idea what is crashing SS at the end of the import as the log screen also goes. Import from itunes definately did not crash slimserver before and all I have changed is the version of trackstat. Export to music IP still works fine. In fact since 6.3 and trackstat 1.27 it possitively flies. Sorry Erland should have been a bit more clear, but I am getting a bit out of my depth here. 1. Goto: http://localhost:10002/api/songs - This returns all songs in MMM. 3. Enter the url below in the web brower and paste the copied path after the =http://localhost:10002/api/getSong?song= - This does not return any data for the missing tracks. It does insert %20 for spaces etc. The URL's between this and the manual update appear to be the same. Manual update = http://tinyurl.com/s9gp6 Cut and paste from getsongs = H:\flac\The Ruts\The Crack & Grean And Bear It\21 - Babylon's Burning .flac Trying path http://localhost:10002/api/getSong?song=H:\flac\The Ruts\The Crack & Grean And Bear It\21 - Babylon's Burning .flac Returns this http://localhost:10002/api/getSong?song=H:\flac\The%20Ruts\The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It\21%20-%20Babylon's%20Burning%20.flac So far I have checked that the paths in MMM are correct to the actual location of the files. I have also deleted all songs from MMM and re imported them, hopefully this is close to a slimserver full rescan. I've also deleted the Slimserver library and done a full rescan. All tracks in MMM show up in slimserver with the little MMM logo. They can be played on SS from MMM using the send to button, and generate MMM mixes from SS when the mix button is used. So I think MMM is 'seeing' the suspect tracks. Would it be something as simple as one returns Babylon's, and the other returns Babylon%27s? OK have tried the 2 local host tests, and both fail. To check I'm not going mad I have got some of the tracks to play in the MM player, and foobar. An issue I have found though is going the other way, exporting to MM, where it returns the following for tracks. 2006-03-29 13:45:50.7448 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/05%20-%20You%27re%20Just%20A.%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:50.8073 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1137788902 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/05%20-%20You%27re%20Just%20A.%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:50.8700 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/11%20-%20Out%20of%20Order%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:50.9331 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1139149774 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/11%20-%20Out%20of%20Order%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.9954 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/13%20-%20West%20One%20(Shine%20on%20Me)%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.0260 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1139179746 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/13%20-%20West%20One%20(Shine%20on%20Me)%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.0885 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/14%20-%20Staring%20at%20the%20Rude%20Boys%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.1512 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1139256061 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/14%20-%20Staring%20at%20the%20Rude%20Boys%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.2136 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/15%20-%20Demolition%20Dancing%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.2761 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1137946205 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/15%20-%20Demolition%20Dancing%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.5538 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/18%20-%20In%20a%20Rut%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.6592 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1139207250 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/18%20-%20In%20a%20Rut%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.7030 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/21%20-%20Babylon%27s%20Burning%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.7998 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Failure setting LastPlayed=1139265686 for H:/flac/The%20Ruts/The%20Crack%20&%20Grean%20And%20Bear%20It/21%20-%20Babylon%27s%20Burning%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45:51.8630 TrackStat::MusicMagic: Set PlayCount=2 for H:/flac/The%20Seeds/A%20Web%20Of%20Sound/12%20-%20Mr.%20Farmer%20.flac 2006-03-29 13:45: I've checked and the tracks exist, and the file names have not changed. Cheers Erland, Had a quick look last night and could not see anything obviously wrong, using the latest Trackstat. I will have a play with this over the weekend. Erland Would the version of MM affect how this works? At present I'm stuck on 1.5 rather than MusicIP 1.6. When I ask it to import from musicmagic it does go away to find track, but eventually it only returns one track. I can't move over to 1.6 until slim/musicIP sort out what is happening, or not with unicode characters. If Trackstat does not work with MMM 1.5 this is not a problem, as eventually I will move fully on to 1.6. I just want to know if it 'should' work. Trackstat and Dynamic playlists are working fine now, as is itunes import and export to musicmagic. What can I say but thanks very much - worked first time. As I said before, this plus your dynamic playlist plugin moves slimserver into a whole new league, once again many thanks. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat won't start
OK, firstly, stumbled across the trackstat/dynamic playlists plugins and got them working. All I can say is wow, the extra functionality these bring to slimserver is great. I have only one problem, yesterday Trackstat loaded fine, indeed suspiciously easy. Now, having changed nothing, I can't see the plugin on the plugins page. I started with 1.11.1, which worked yesterday, and have tried 1.12, which I think might have worked but the machine was rescanning. I'm currently on 6.2.1, will going to the latest 6.2 nightly help? (I'd rather not after having problems with FW33), or have I done something stupid? The trackstat plugin is in the plugin directory with its own folder. Any hints or help would be greatly appreciated as these two plugins are more than a match for itunes!
