[SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC and 7.4
Hi I'm running Vista 64 on a WHS. I'm trying to get AlienBBC both installed and running but I'm not having much luck. I have this line typed into the Download Extender Additional repositories: http://alienbbc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/testrepo.xml I click apply. I'm not sure what I'm meant to do from then on. I see no new entries to the plugins listed in the plugins tab at all. Should I also select AlienBBC for 'install' in the Download Extender tab? If I do this then I get AlienBBC v2.5 in the plugin tab and not 2.6. This is all seems a bit convoluted so I'm not sure what I'm meant to be doing TBH. Any help would be much appreciated. -- luga00 ---- luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66404 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC and 7.4
No, I don't see that addition to my plugin list, unfortunately. The last entry is xpl interface. -- luga00 luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66404 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC and 7.4
thanks, I upgraded to a newer version of 7.4 which has both the extension downloader and plugins on the same page and everything worked fine first time. Thanks for all the help. -- luga00 luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66404 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer 0.9 - with UK and Non UK Support
I'm trying to play local radio streams on IPlayer (eg. BBC Radio Surrey) but I just get the message: Error- Item not found in playlist. Are local radio stations available yet on IPlayer? regards Russ -- luga00 luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67098 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Ah, yes, sorry, I would have written with much more detail had I not suspected that those streams weren't available yet. Knowing that they should be working I'm in the UK, running 7.4 on a WHS machine with 6 x SB3 Classics. I'm using the latest IPlayer (or at least my plugin page was showing me I needed to update it which I did last night). I will check tonight if I can play the national live streams. Thanks for your reply BPA. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
A similar problem I'm having to Jetradio is that since upgrading the iphone software to v2 a couple of days ago, my iphone cannot see my library or any players. I'm still investigating this but it seems to be something to do with the iphone now sending out Bonjour multicast DNS messages(UDP port 5353) around my network. It is flooding my network with thousands of these a second and completely choking my router. The culprits are the squeezeboxes themselves as they seem not to be answering the UDP messages sent by the iphone and hence the bombardment. If disconnect the SB's from the network the bombardment stops - I can then re-connect them and everything works fine again. -- luga00 ---- luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Ah, yes, apologies if my message came across as an ipeng related problem. The problem seems to be related to Slimserver/squeezebox/bonjour the result of which is blocking all router related traffic (internet browsing etc.) including ipeng's ability to 'see' slimserver. -- luga00 ---- luga00's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1938 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
