Mine doesn't work on the 3.91b either.
But if you have a paid account, why not use the Pandora One player?
You get 192 streams, unlike the squeezeplayer, or browser.
If I am at the computer, the player is it.
Around the house I use my squeeze hardware.

Is there a source for tags that matches Echo Nests preferred? Most of my
tags ( >98% ) come from CDDB or CD-text.
I would like to lift more than a few tracks from the unknown category.
Some may just be unknown, I understand.

I think if you go to LMS settings => Advanced tab and then click the
pulldown and select smartmix you can change the Most Recently Played
Days to a higher number. Mine was defaulted to a low number, I bumped it
to 6 days and I get 'better' results.

Have not found the answer by looking around, so a post is in order.
I have noticed that Smart mix crossfades too soon between songs.
Sometimes the switch to the next song happens before the end, not a
period of quiet, near but not at the end.
I looked for a setting, but my poor tiny brain could not find an easy
spot to make a change.
Is there something like that sitting there very obvious, or is it more
of a script change?
Thanks.

Sorry I used 'crossfade' in the wrong context.
I checked settings, and as I suspected I have crossfade turned off on
all of my players.
I do not use any streaming music services along with my local files.
In the advanced settings for Smart Mix I have selected only Local Music
Files.
In the advanced settings for the player I checked the smart mix settings
and found that Music Sources was set to Music Services and local files.
I changed that to Local Music files.
This evening I did not hear the same premature fade from one song to
another. If I do I will try to capture the log.

Since the 5.1 android update to my N7(2012) killed my Logitech app I
bought the squeeze ctrl app, and the tablet in-app upgrade.
Works just like it is supposed to, no setup at all.
But, no Now Playing or album art.
Is this related to your issues with google, or is there something else I
need to do.
I have not uninstalled the logitech app, there shouldn't be any contact
between the two.
Perhaps a setting I missed?

Your NAS has an ARM processor.
You could with one of the ReadyNas Pro boxes which have x86 processors.
Don't know about the Ultra models, they have atom processors.

The only issues that I have had were with Firefox 19.0.2 windows. I get

I also am unable to drag and drop tracks in Firefox.
Chrome seems to work with no problems.
On my NAS performance is about the same as the native LMS web interface.

That's just it. I never installed the Chromecast app on my phone and do

Unless they are cleverly hidden even with show system apps turned on I
can't find it. It may be embedded in some other app.
I did have the Chromecast app installed on an old tablet with my

It is strange.
Even if I had a Chrome Cast Audio, I would not want it to start playing

I had been using LMSnewGUI for a while but when I upgraded to 7.9
something broke.
Seeing the recent posts reminded me about it, I had sort of forgotten.
I still had the old repo. When I updated it I get
Bad repository https://www.nexus0.net/pub/sw/extgui4lms/repo.xml -
Connect timed out: Transport endpoint is not connected
at the top of the plugin page.
I can wget the file from the CLI of my NAS, so I am sure it can get
here.
When I check the box in 3rd party plugins for the app and restart LMS,
not available.
No traces in any of the plugin directories.
Any guesses?
Can I manually install the plugin?

Thanks. At the risk of abusing you good nature, would re-rebuilding
bliss-analyzer allow me to use the older ffmpeg utils?
Or, could I run the bliss-analyze from another system with the current
version of ffmpeg and then upload the result to my LMS server system?
I really want to try this, but not rebuild and reconfigure my server and
players.

I moved this over from the Similarity thread.

I put the bliss-analyser-linux-0.0.1.zip on a RPi4 running Bullseye.
I mapped the music drive of the nas via cifs and set the ip address of
the LMS server.
When I run the ./bliss-analyser analyse I get the following error:
bash: ./bliss-analyser: cannot execute binary file: Exec Format error

Got it, running in windows now.
You are right about the load. My 3975wx is has a 9-15% load with this
job and it's saturating the ethernet connection to the NAS.
After 10 minutes 1600 out of 21302 ( 8%)

Ran through the library and there were lots of 'Failed to read tags of'
errors 3500 out of 21261.
I used DBpoweramp to examine the tags on a sampling, and made
modification to some and resaved the tags.
They all seem to have Title Artist Album Genre filled in without special
characters.
I reran bliss-analyse tags and it updated 0.
Compared some tracks that had error where others in the folder did not,
as well as whole albums that had errors. Nothing jumped out at me.
I have used a couple of ripping and tagging programs over the years (
cdexe, mp3tag dbpoweramp, musicbrainz picard ) and the samples have
covered pretty much any of the tagging programs.
Some of the ones that skipped around ( some read some not in the same
album )were downloaded tracks pre tagged.

I had failure on the same album, no chroma.

Cool.
I have been re ripping and tagging albums to see what kind of change
would be made.
It would be nice if the actual number of re-rip/retags needed would
drop, like maybe a bunch.
