Unfortunately, there is nothing... however I was able to solve it, but
no plan what was the issue. LMS restart did not help, but restarting OS
solved the issue... that is probably the reason why nothing is in LMS
log.
It is installed on a VM running on Synology NAS.

Thanks for your help!

Mike

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.6.2 LMS 8.2 - Streaming stops on Radio after about 10sec

2021-11-07 Thread michael.tanner

Hi all

My Spotty worked fine last used weeks ago. Now I have the issue I can
start streaming on Radio, but after about 10-15 sec playing stops. In
the client the time is still running. I use familiy account with Spotify
Client ID.

Any idea what could be the issue?

Thanks,
Regards,
Mike

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.6.0 Spotify Connect Devices not visible for mutliple users

2021-08-05 Thread michael.tanner

Hi again

I got it working (configure mDNS handling), but not for a long time...
You asked for the client id, so just be sure, should I do that as
described?

Zugriffsrate überschritten für: me/player?market=from_token; nächster
Versuch in 3 Sekunden.

nötig an.
neu erstellten Konfiguration unter "Users and Access" hinzu.

Thanks,
Regards,
Mike

ok, now it is clear. I have to check multicast (mDNS) in my
infrastructure. Now I also understand the point with the credentials, so
they are not needed if I want to use only Spotify Connect. Login is
required, when I want to browse Spotify with Squeezebox...
The automatic authentication didn't work with my mobile, you are right.
I have to login to get it working.

Thanks for your support and the great work with Spotty!

Mike

That is the case, same network segment, no routing in between. It is not
that complicated, it is more the size as I have a lot of network devices
(smart home). The question is if some special network services are
needed, how this "Spotify Connect service advertising" works. Is it
based on multicast, Bonjour, ...?

As I already mentioned on my mobile phone it works well, but all other
mobile phones on the same WLAN can't see the players as Spotify Connect.
That is why I think it is not network related...

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.6.0 Spotify Connect Devices not visible for mutliple users

2021-08-04 Thread michael.tanner

Hi all

I have a fresh install of Spotty 4.6.0 on a new installed LMS 8.2.0
running on a Linux Debian.

I had to provide Spotify login information in Spotty configuration to
make the Spotify Connect devices visible on my mobile phone. However, an
additional account on a different mobile phone can't see the Connect
devices. Both mobile phones are on the same WLAN.

Any idea what I have to check? Both accounts are part of a Spotify
family account. The working one is the administrative account.

Thanks,
Regards,
Mike
