That is the case, same network segment, no routing in between. It is not that complicated, it is more the size as I have a lot of network devices (smart home). The question is if some special network services are needed, how this "Spotify Connect service advertising" works. Is it based on multicast, Bonjour, ...? As I already mentioned on my mobile phone it works well, but all other mobile phones on the same WLAN can't see the players as Spotify Connect. That is why I think it is not network related...
