Hi Erland Hoping you can point me in the right direction! I have just moved to a new server and a new version of SBS, I heavily use trackstat ratings and then dynamic playlists from that. Hi Erland Yesterday I paid for the suite of plugins, I personally think its the right step, they are the best plugins available and like most people I had meant to donate but not done it previously. I have run into a problem with Dynamic Playlists which I would appreciate your help with. At the same time as paying for plugins I have also migrated onto a new server, previously I had a vortexbox server running 7.5.3 and have just set-up a HP microserver running vortexbox 1.10 and SBserver 7.6.1. In terms of your plugins then I imported trackstat backup which worked fine, I then copied all my playlists over to the Sbserver playlists folder which incudes the dynamic playlists. However on the dynamic playlists plugin it isn't showing any playlists in the main window, in settings it showed all playlists and like before on 7.5.3 I chose the 'Top Rated' ones I wanted to display however nothing listed on web interface/players. Do you have any ideas what may have caused this? Hi Triode Is it possible at all when creating a playlist to create or add to a specific folder? I list all the new albums I'm listening to under a month folder, so now with your plugin I can search for an album and add to playlist, what I would like to do is add the playlist under the 'September' folder for example, is that possible? Also a feature request, is it possible when saving an album to new playlist to auto populate the artist/album name? The spotify desktop/android apps auto populate as artist - album and saves having to type unless you want to edit the description. Hi Triode Great plugin, just moved over from the official plugin and won't be going back! Have a problem with the new update though, installed last night on my vortexbox (running 7.5.3) and it worked fine on web interface and players, however today the players won't go into menu, just showing the spinning image. The one thing that I noticed was that I had tried to access from squeezecommander app and that brought up a server error, since then I can't access. Have tried restarting server and players but still the same, can you advise on what to look for next? Just noticed that the web interface is working as expected its just the player/android app that aren't working. Really like the improvements in the new version, probably the main one for me is the ability to add a song to an existing playlist (as a minor bug its spelt wrongly as 'exising' on the menu) - I put my favourite songs from an album into my 'Best of 2011' playlists and previously had to use android app on phone to do this and can now do direct from SB, brilliant! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Erlands Plugins: Playlist Generator/Trackstat - Missing or limited tracks?
Hi There I use trackstat for rating music and then creating playlists from that, I wanted to have a way of transferring the ratings from Squeezebox to Banshee on linux which I use to manage my ipod classic. What I did was to use Erlands playlist generator with custom scan to nightly produce a 'Top Rated' m3u playlist, I then wrote a very basic shell script to replace 'flac' with 'mp3' and then when I go into Banshee I load up the latest version of 'Top Rated' tracks, this then transfers as a playlist onto my ipod. Works well, however I went to do an update last night, previously there was 485 songs in the top rated playlist and I expected this to jump up to a couple of hundred more as I'd rated a few songs, however it stayed around the same number. I went back to playlist generator and checked settings and it seemed to me that it wasn't pulling all the top rated tracks into the playlist so rather then adding to the total it seemed to pull back a list of just less then 500 tracks. I then did a database query and noticed that the following were in trackstat Number of 4 star rated songs;601 Number of 5 star rated songs;90 - Am I doing something wrong settings wise in generating this playlist? - Is there a restriction on playlist generation via these plugins similar to the SBS restriction of 500 tracks?
