Anyone experiencing issues right now with the flac stream of Radio
Paradise?

Plugins::RadioParadise::ProtocolHandler::__ANON__ (124) Error: Connect

AAC 320 & 128 both play OK (LMS 7.9.1 on a Readynas Ultra 4).

Well, Tidal works flawlessly in Hi-Fi (flac) mode (Logitech plug-in).

Same thing today:

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)

More info, just in case it might be significant:

If I click on "Play AAC 320kbps" inside Radio Paradise plugin in LMS
this is what I get:

>> URL: http://www.radioparadise.com/m3u/aac-320.m3u

IF I do the same on "Play losslessly (FLAC)":

>> URL: radioparadise://4.flac

The URL is wrong :-?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*

2017-05-20 Thread takerna

My apologies if this has been mentioned before... I did a quick search
in the thread before posting but didn't find anything relevant.

To the best of my knowledge, DSDPlayer plugin only works on
Intel-powered Synology NASes, any update on this?

I've tried setting up a repo using an armv5el binary (the one by Ralphy,
here https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/utility/), it
installs OK on a DSM5 DS212j but the DSDplay plugin page says that the
version installed is not compatible with the server ("DSDPlayer does not
currently include a version that supports your server").

Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

I bumped into this same problem last night when I tried to install
Spotty in my ReadyNas Ultra 4 (Intel Atom-based, still OS 4).

I ssh'd to my box and tried:

$ apt-get update
$ apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl

But apt-get could not connect to the proper repositories to grab the
required files.

I checked /etc/apt/sources.list and found this:

$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
http://www.readynas.com/packages 4.2.31/
#deb http://archive.debian.org/debian etch

After removing the leading '#' in the 2nd line (comment) I retried the
above two commands, this time IO::Socket::SSL installed OK. Spotty is
now running on my NAS :-). Searching the catalogue is swift and playback
is OK, but access to my Artists and, specially, Albums sections seems
still rather unstable, locking somehow the whole LMS for some seconds at
times.

Kudos to mherguer for the enormous work, as usual!

It already is :-).

Just removed it to be able to install the module and get Spotty up &
running. An 'apt-get upgrade' would probably have killed the ReadyNas
OS, but as Netgear's repositories for discontinued NASes are down this
was necessary.
