I tried both to exactly the same effect. As far as I can tell the biggest difference is that you are listening in the US and I live in Germany. A while ago the Sirius app for Squeezebox radio has been updated and at first the developer forgot to tweak some part of it to enable it to work in Europe also. He then fixed that and since then everything worked fine. Im assuming some changes must have been made again in these past few days (maybe by Sirius) that affect listening with the Squeezebox app in Europe without a problem. I hope this gets fixed otherwise I can only listen on the Sirius iphone app or on my laptop. FWIW: the only change in our Sirius implementation which happened in the past 3.5 years was a change to the SSL configuration. That was no functional change. Streams from music services usually go to the player directly, without mysb.com being involved. If you were using LMS you could try to enable its proxied streaming option which would send the audio stream through LMS. This often improves streaming when there are minor networking issues between your player and the streaming server. Please keep in mind that SiriusXM is a US only service. It's very possible that they don't have optimized _global_ infrastructure. I wish I remember the guys name, but someone on this forum did actually change the Sirius app on mysqueezebox.com a couple of months ago when some people had problems with it after Sirius made some changes. While he fixed it he forgot to code it to work in Europe too, but he wrote me he didn't know that there were even Sirius listeners in Europe. He then made the change and after he did everything worked fine again ! I also remember de- and reinstalling the app to make it work. That hasn't changed in many years. There's the siriusXM plugin for LMS, but that is still version 1.0 and has never changed. Nothing has ever indicated an update of any kind for me, but maybe that's because I'm in the US? Logitech is out of the squeezebox player business and only seems to be dropping apps not adding apps. So not sure there is any "fix" coming. Unfortunately its not the Wifi strength. The signal is 100% just iike it has always been. The wifi channels also havent changed, there are no interferences AND any other stream except for the ones coming through the SiriusXM app are 100% fine ! No interruption whatsoever. I noticed that when switching to SiriusXM on my Squeezebox radio it briefly shows the message "Connection reset by local host " . I suspect there is a problem with the network connection *between your LAN and the Radio*. Is the radio wifi connected? What is the strength. Anybody else experiencing the constant re-buffering of SiriusXM in the past 2 days on Squeezebox radio ? The stream will play for about 30 seconds then in needs to fill the buffer again. Haven't had a problem before. My iphone Sirius App plays just finde if connected to the same home network and so does the stream using my laptop.
