The Controller menu mysteriously stopped working on SC 7.4, I have been working intermittently on fixing it but I don't have a finished version yet. [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update on SB Controller/SqueezePlay
Should James' iTunes Update plugin work on the SqueezeBox Controller? I'd like to be able to set track ratings with my new toy! Looking at the plugin code there are some references to Jive and some commented out menu code so maybe somethng was started? When I try and use it via the controller or SqueezePlay I get an empty iTunes Update menu under the Extras item while playing. I'm not sure if iTunes Update has its own user interface on the Controller but if you install TrackStat you should get a Rating menu in the track details and if you change a rating through this menu iTunes Update should pick it up and change the rating in iTunes.
