For some reason, I am not able to queue Bandcamp URLs via the playlist
{add|play} url command.
I've checked the logs but even on debug loglevel for the plugin, there
is nothing.
Using the App in the LMS webinterface with its Bandcamp URL textbox does
however work just as expected and plays fine
Any pointers?
I'd like to use the CLI commands to queue/play urls as it enables me to
have a telegram bot which gets URLs forwarded and then just plays them
on my squeezebox system.
This does work for spotify, youtube and HLS urls already

Or at least large parts of it: the Bandcamp URL menu items would already do the lookup etc. The full source of the plugin is on your computer: check out the Cache/InstalledPlugins folder. I've also been meaning to request this feature, since I have multiple BandCamp accounts I use to purchase music. For me, this is due to their limitations of organizing music (it's just one big bucket) and the shear quantity of music I have purchased from BC. This really is a pain when trying to scan for a title using their phone app since there is no 'A','B','C' grouping like in some LMS players. Also, your suggestion regarding 'fans/followers' only sorta works - not all artists/albums allow you to play all the tracks if you have not purchased the album. Got it. Something seems to be wrong with your cache file. Go to Settings/Information to learn where your cache.db is stored. Shut down LMS. Delete that file and restart. Hi Michael, I'm just done transferring my music collection from a Synology DS213 with LMS 7.7.6-116 to a new Synology DS218+ with LMS 7.9.2 by swapping the discs from the old NAS to the new one. After the discs were transferred succesfully, I updated LMS to 7.9.1, and after that to 7.9.2. On the old system, your bandcamp-plugin was running smoothly. On the new one, I can install it, but when I click 'Settings' it displays the following: 404 Not Found: plugins/Extensions/settings/plugins/Bandcamp/settings.html Any idea what could be going wrong? I'm a fairly long time user of Squeezebox/LMS (2007), but never got into streaming or all the various plugins for the platform, until I discovered http://archive.org and it's treasure trove of live performances. Then in 2013 discovered a guitarist by the name of Buckethead, who released all of his new music on Bandcamp - and that's when my next musical adventure began I beleive I tried the LMS plugin but it wasn't working for me, so I just dropped it. Thanks Michael! LOL... I do own the album. It's my band! I'm a massive supporter of local music, hear you loud and clear and agree! Thanks for clearing up the bitrate limitations. I would actually stream a high a quality as I can get. I'm lucky enough to live in an area with gigabit service. I think most people wouldn't though and it'd be great if bandcamp would allow 256 or 320 but being able to connect is still an amazing thing. Next, crazy question. My band posted a .wav file on bandcamp. When I use this plugin, it says that it's streaming at 128kbps. Is there anyway to increase the quality of the stream? Buy the album, download it and stream from your computer. Bandcamp doesn't provide an official API to stream anything higher quality then 128kbps/mp3. 7.9.1 release OSX El Capitan. SSL otherwise works in LMS Ok. I finally got to reproduce this on an El Capitan based system. Argh... No idea why that would be. Most likely an outdated Net::SSLeay module. When adding some SSL debugging code I'd get this: fatal SSL error: SSL connect attempt failed with unknown error error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert protocol version El Cap comes with 1.58, while only 1.59 added support for TLS v1.x (http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/MIKEM/Net-SSLeay-1.85/Changes). If the server enforces more recent encryption modes, LMS would fail to connect. Collection, Wishlist, Music Feed, Fans, Followers, etc. Did you ever fill in the Identity value after Michael added it to the plugin page? While this is not absolutely required, it is required for extended functionality - like playing your Music Feed. For whatever reason, my Identity did change once in the last several weeks, so I started experiencing issues. NOTE: Mine was EXTREMELY similar, having only changed a few characters In the update to v1.7.3, Michael did change things so that if you click on the Music Feed and your ID is wrong it should tell you so... Did you try a restart of LMS? Network changes? Firewall, etc.? Short of these things, I'm at a loss. Mine has been working perfectly, including tonight, without any issues. Up until a recent update I've been able to play tracks through the Band's Campout plugin. But now I can't. I can browse in all the various ways possible, but when I select something to play, it queues the tracks up, but they have a length of 0 and immediately stop. If I manually refresh the page it resets the web page to the "home" page for LMS and I have to start over again(ie I get to the page with the main menu(Music Library, Radio,My Apps , Settings etc.). If you re-loaded the page, it would show the new state. The fact that the menu wouldn't render actually was a stupid little bug.
