[Pmapper-users] new functionality in pmapper2
Hello! My name is Natal?a and I have added a new functionality at the pmapper. The functionality 's name is auto_identify. It visualizes a window with the result of the query when the cursor of the mouse stop on an interest element. The window to disappear automatically only after any seconds for to make to visualize the informations. The window is visualized thanks to the movement of the mouse on the map, in fact, if after the visualization of the window in a point the cursor rimains stop, the window will not appear another time but it will be necessary a new movement of the mouse on the point for to visualize the window newly. The beautiful one of all this is that it comes make without to make the refresh of the page : instantaneously! This feature is really a great one Natalia but I'm not able to make it works on the demo. Your description is easy to follow, is there some instructions you forgot to tell us or is it work just in IE for instance? It's definitely a feature that add value to pmapper. What about customizing the css and style? I've seen w.css but not all style is there because no mention there for instance for the border. [Pmapper-users] Bug legend-toc pmapper 2
Hi all, hi Armin,
I think to find a bug in pmapper2
After start pmapper 2 first time and select serveral layers if I close the
window and restart pmapper I find on main map layers activated but not
checked in legend!
So to resolve the problem i change the function writeJSArrays() in legend.php:
from

to
if (isset($_SESSION["groups"]) && count($_SESSION["groups"]) > 0) {
$defGroups = $_SESSION["groups"];

for to find in checked status also the layers activated after first start of

ok, I got it now. There's the slight problem that the iquery of Natalia uses the 'old way' (until pm 1.9.5) how to get query results and to render them. The new functions since 2.0 (and since some time in the dev versions) do not create any more fix HTML but a JSON string. This would make it also somewhat easier to display the results in the way how it is done with auto_identify by Natalia. And it would not require an additional squery/query.php. [Pmapper-users] query postgis problems
There is currently no map mouseover function to display query results. The one from Natalia Zoppardo discussed today comes closer to it, but would need some customizations too. One other solution (not for the map but the result table) could be to define the image path as hyperlink and to use the function 'openHyperlink()' from custom.js to display the image, eg. by creating a DIV and populating it with the image.
