Re: [political-research] 9/11 Truth Activist Gets Death Threats

2007-05-15 Thread Sean McBride
Some possibilities:

1. He's making up the stories of the threats.

2. He's an agent provocateur and his own people are making the threats to build
up his street creds.

3. The JDL or some other militant Jewish organization (or organizations) are
making the threats.

4. Random pro-Israel militants are making the threats.

 5. The threats are coming from friends of Larry Silverstein.

If the threats are real, he should be trying to record them and get them posted
all over the Internet.

With regard to the charges about Silverstein: those need to be carefully
documented, if they are grounded in reality.

If this guy really is operating on his own without a safety net, and he's
making false charges about various very powerful parties, then uh oh. That
would be an unwise thing to do. His targets probably won't take the attacks
lying down.

I have no idea what's really going on here, but the story bears watching.

knows what to believe about the bloody catastrophe that is Iraq? Faced
with the serial deceptions of Richard Cheney and George W. Bush, layer
upon layer, we tend to become inured. We do know now that what we were
told back then by the White House was hogwash. Yes, I am referring,
once more, to the run-up, to the origins, and to the actual reason for
the fraudulent enterprise, resulting in a full-blown fiasco, code-named
“Operation Iraqi Freedom”. This is not beating a dead horse. The issue
could be grounds for impeachment. It is already the reason why Cheney’s
former chief-of-staff is a convicted felon. By promoting his memoir, At
The Center of the Storm, ex-CIA supremo George Tenet has forced the
public to reconsider this amazing and disgraceful episode in America’s
recent history. In the process of trying to justify himself, Tenet digs
not just a bigger hole for himself, but an even bigger one for Cheney
and Bush. Tenet can’t help it. What he has been saying does not add up.

[political-research] Iraqi Parliament Won't Accept US-Written Oil Law

Foreign investment and Shiite control are the primary concerns. A White
House deadline for passage is in doubt. Baghdad - It has not even
reached parliament, but the oil law that U.S. officials call vital to
ending Iraq's civil war is in serious trouble among Iraqi lawmakers,
many of whom see it as a sloppy document rushed forward to satisfy
Washington's clock. Opposition ranges from vehement to measured, but
two things are clear: The May deadline that the White House had been
banking on is in doubt.

Re: [political-research] The deadly failure

2007-05-15 Thread Sean McBride
You could speculate that the British Anglo power elite dominates American
politics, but you would be dead wrong. That model of power relations once
matched reality, but it hasn't for quite some time -- for at least several
decades. There has been an enormous socio-economic shift in American power
politics since the days of Antony Sutton and Carroll Quigley. You never
support your theories on this issue with empirical data. The best starting
point for getting a handle on financial (and thus political) power is the
annual Forbes billionaires list. Brits (Anglo Brits) do not come close to
dominating the list. British power has been in sharp decline since World War
II, when Winston Churchill unwittingly threw away the British empire.

It the Anglo power elite was still in command of the American political system,
the neocons would not have been able to commandeer the Bush 43 administration
and drive American foreign policy into the ditch in the Mideast. The neocons
bent Tony Blair to their will, not vice-versa.

Would it be correct for me to infer that you view both Anglo and Jewish power
elites to be the enemies of Arabs? Yes? No?
