as of 4.8, with azalia you might actually be better off using smaller
blocks (-z). but that is a bad idea with pre-4.8, especially on MP
amd64 systems.

I got it . . . moved .../mystuff/logic2cnf to .../mystuff/math/logic2cnf

its Makefile has CATEGORIES = math lang
so set a symlink from /usr/ports/math/logic2cnf to your directory or extract the
port in either /usr/ports/math or /usr/ports/lang.

Not sure why I'm getting the following or what to do about it. I
looked for answers, but I'm not finding any. I have an updated ports
tree and am running amd64 -current. Thanks for your help. This sounds
like a pretty cool program.

montagueroot tar xvzf /home/neal/port_HACKS/logic2cnf-port.tgz -C
/usr/ports/mystuff/
logic2cnf
logic2cnf/Makefile
logic2cnf/distinfo
logic2cnf/pkg

montagueroot cd /usr/ports/mystuff
montagueroot ls

montagueroot cd logic2cnf/
montagueroot make install clean
Fatal: one category in math lang should match PKGPATH=logic2cnf (in logic2cnf)
Fatal: bogus PKGPATH=logic2cnf (no subdirectory) (in logic2cnf)
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Hi,

It works ok for me but the sound stutters a lot (azalia). Running
aucat with audio buffers of 8192 doesn't change anything.

I haven't looked at it yet. I want to rework the rtcw patches first and
get more than i386 working.

Did some more testing with other examples, works without problems on i386. Some
suggestions:

* only warn about unused variables instead of error
* allow more than one formula in one file (perhaps I just used the wrong
syntax?)

Can any of you try the following ?

(set-frame-font "-xos4-terminus-bold-r-normal--20-200-72-72-c-100-iso8859-1")

Just move the cursor around and check if you can see the character underneath.
I didn't upgrade my emacs cause my happiness depends on this font.

Sorry for the delay. My testcase is psi, port attached (needs a bit
cleanup but compiles and works), and the patches to qt4 and qca2 that
make psi compile. Without version bump as I haven't yet wrapped my head
around that.

new: editors/emacs/php-mode-1.5.0

2010-08-20 Thread Thomas de Grivel
This port still depends on emacs-22, i'll update it when emacs-23 gets
in the tree.

$ cd /usr/ports && tar xzf editors_emacs_php-mode-1.5.0.tgz
$ cd /usr/ports/editors/emacs/php-mode && make install

In case you USE_SYSTRACE, the port calls emacs during build and systrace
does not like it. While i get to rtfm and fix it, please feel free to
patch =)

Any update on this port? I just built it on amd64, and it seems okay so far.

tests good on i386-current as of aug 12th. sound works, dying
crash bug fixed. looks good, runs good. thanks for this :)

btw have you already started on any ports for the enemy territory src

As stated in a private mail, upgrading to the latest snapshot
on i386/MP borke ioquake3 for me (my own version as well as the old
port version. ioquake3 is not able to apply its gamma correction
anymore (same with 10.4 ubuntu radeon drivers as well as the binary
blob ATI driver for newer cards in some cases). Game is too dark,
brightness settings (r_gamma) do not work anymore.
Does anyone have an idea what is causing this or have a workaround
like setting those gamma values (whatever their correct name is:)
beforehand?

included previous conversation as I did not realise it did not make
it to the list. attached is an updated version of my ioquake3 port,
this as Mr Schlichting pointed out does not use the sdl_snd_c patch
anymore, and I decided to sync all patches with the latest for
openarena, as they do share a very similar codebase. I also opted
to include Jacob Meuser's snd_sndio.c which worked without a hitch,
this is working even smoother now esp in regards to sound. I'll be
testing it more myself, comments?
