[update] graphics/qiv 2.3.1 -> 2.3.2

2020-12-12 Thread Charlene Wendling
Hi,

Here is an update for qiv to 2.3.2. It brings many bugfixes and
runtime changes [0].

There are a number of changes port-wise:

- move HOMEPAGE to https, refresh WANTLIB
- fix improper manpath [0] -- i reported to upstream thinking it was
an OpenBSD quirk. I had a fix, but upstream committed one with a
  greater scope.
- fix "implicit conversion from 'int' to 'float'" warnings while
  building with clang-10 (upstreamed [0])

I've built and run that update on macppc and amd64 without issues.

Comments/feedback are welcome,

Charlène.

A few days ago Lagrange was updated. I've updated the port and tested
it on amd64. DESCR now has a note regarding Gopherspace.

A full tarball is attached as it does not seem to be committed yet.

Re: Patch and policy inquiry

2020-12-12 Thread Stuart Henderson
As I said, "There are some problems with them, do not take them as being
100% correct."

[NEW] devel/tekui NOVICE PORTER

2020-12-12 Thread Johnpaul Humphrey
Hi All,
Attached is a port of TekUI, my first port as a matter of fact.

TekUI is an event driven GUI toolkit for rapid application development.
It is written in Lua and C, so if any of you folks use Lua (I do) you
might enjoy it.

Being my first port I had a few questions.

1. When running the checking utility, it complained of hard-coded
paths in the Makefile. There is one hard coded path in the Makefile.
Should I replace every path with a variable, or is this primarily for
larger ports?
2. TekUI has several backends. X11, raw framebuffer, and VNC to name a
few. Should I make a flavour for every one of those? (excluding
Windows and other non-applicable platforms of course.) In other words,
when making a package, is it a good idea to make sure every feature
can be included, or is it better to aim for simplicity?
3. Is there some easy way to get it packaged for every version of Lua,
or does this lazy 'maintainer' have to expend energy typing a few
extra keystrokes on the keyboard?

Ok, that last one was a bit tongue-in-cheek, I don't mind extra
typing. And I do intend to maintain it, I just want to cover them in
the most correct and simple manner possible.

Please, give me feedback. This is my first port, and I want to get it
straight before I port more stuff over.
I have only tested this on amd64 platform. I assumed it works on other
platforms, but am not sure.
Ok, enough typing. Here is the port:

update: editors/scintilla + editors/scite to 4.4.6

2020-12-12 Thread Sebastien Marie
Hi,

Here an update to editors/scintilla (a library) and editors/scite
(editor based on scintilla) to 4.4.6

In editors/scintilla, the library 'scintilla_lexers' (which was "port
homemade" for scite) is now properly exported as 'lexilla' (by
upstream). So I just changed the SHARED_LIBS part to keep the name
from upstream. All library versioning is proper to openbsd, so I kept
the current version identique for 'scintilla' and 'lexilla' libraries.

The upstream makefile (of both ports) is a bit spagetti, and changed
since last update, so the big diffs on them.

Tested on amd64.

Comments or OK ?

update: net/gajim (and net/py-nbxmpp)

2020-12-12 Thread Paco Esteban
Hi ports@,

This is an update for net/gajim. It includes also an easy dependency
update for net/py-nbxmpp, as the new Gajim version needs the last one
available.

Tested on amd64 against a prosody running also on -current. All seems
correct to me.

For net/gajim, I added a README to point out that some modules need
additional packages. This is because I spent some minutes with OMEMO
not working with no errors at all, and list archives show me that this
is not the first time I loose time on this ...

comments / ok welcome.

NEW: sysutils/watch (not the procps-ng one)

2020-12-12 Thread Klemens Nanni
Here's a shell helper I wrote a while ago, mainly to do the following:

1. right-click URL in browser -> copy
2. start cwm(1) application, i.e. `command watch watch' in cwmrc(5)
3. have mpv(1) started streaming the URL, possibly with youtube-dl(1)

I've put it into shape and uploaded the script somewhere, wrote a
proper manual as well so DESCR merely serves as teaser.

Information for inst:watch-0.1

Comment:
watch videos

Description:
watch(1) is a small wrapper around mpv(1), youtube-dl(1) and xclip(1)
providing simple interfaces and intregration to stream arbitrary URLs or
watch YouTube search results.

Maintainer: Klemens Nanni

I know this could conflict with a future port of the GNU watch(1) tool,
but it has yet to arrive and other names for this tool are already used,
e.g. view(1) from editors/vim and stream(1) from graphics/ImageMagick.

Feedback? OK?

update ocaml-parmap to 1.1.1

2020-12-12 Thread Daniel Dickman
The main change below is that parmap now builds with dune instead of
ocamlbuild.

The patches go away because upstream now supports more current versions of
ocaml.

Tested with coccinelle (the only consumer).

ok?

This is needed in order to update py-sphinx to newer versions which are

[NEW] graphics/alembic

2020-12-12 Thread Dimitri Karamazov
Information for inst:alembic-1.7.16

Comment:
open framework for storing and sharing scene data

Description:
Alembic is an open computer graphics interchange framework. It distills
complex, animated scenes into a non-procedural, application-independent
set of baked geometric results. This "distillation" of scenes into baked
geometry is exactly analogous to the distillation of lighting and
rendering scenes into rendered image data.

Alembic is focused on efficiently storing the computed results of complex
procedural geometric constructions. It is very specifically NOT concerned
with storing the complex dependency graph of procedural tools used to
create the computed results.

Maintainer: Dimitri Karamazov

WWW: https://www.alembic.io/

Build, run tested with blender.
All regression tests pass.

Any comments,OK's?
