Re: PM key, cont
Hi Shell, I'm new to discussions, and not sure how this works. But CTM read my message and told me they'll check it out and get back to me soon. I thought I should send a message to you all so that no one else needs to write me a message about my PM key. Thanks to those of you who have responded to me. I'm duly impressed! Welcome to the list! This is a great group, and a friendly one too! As you discovered, CTM does monitor this list, and often they will chime in when they have something to say. However there is no guarantee of this, so when you really want to talk to CTM you should send email to PowerMail support [EMAIL PROTECTED]. In your case, CTM replied to the list to say that they would look into your problem, so (in theory) we all knew it was being taken care of. (but it was still good that you sent this message) Jim -- Jim Pistrang JP Computer Resources Certified Member, Apple Consultants Network 413-256-4569 http://users.crocker.com/~pistrang

Because my previous version is 4.2.1, PowerMail help refuses my message. I tried sending a message to support@ and it was refused, too. Can anyone help me know how to get ctmdev to send my my PM Key so I can start using 5.2.2? Now that it is on my computer, I can't access my addresses, etc. I'm stuck. Many thanks to anyone who can help We will look into this right away and get back to you via direct mail within an hour. Cheers, jean michel/ctm qa

What does this mean? Most likely something asked for in the conversation between PowerMail and the mail server is replied to (by the server) as unimplemented. It may also be something that doesn't make sense of course. To really know, you have to listen in on the conversation with a tool like Net Tool Box, Interarchy, Etherpeek or command line tools tcpdump or tcpflow. NTB and Interarchy refuse to work on my machine for hitherto unknown reasons. I think I need to migrate my home folder in a more stringent manner perhaps. I haven't since 10.1. seeking help changing from Entourage to PowerMail
I've just bought PowerMail (and Foxtrot) and am looking forward to moving from Entourage (X.1.1), which I've used for years. Having read the manual, I was unable to find (though maybe I missed it) the info I'm looking for and would appreciate it if anyone could point me to a good source of info or offer suggestions. My Entourage address book contains over 1,000 individuals and groups. What is the best way to transfer those names and groups to PowerMail? The messages of the past years are stored in a large number of folders in Entourage. Is there any way to move these folders to PowerMail? If it's relevant, I use Tiger (10.4.4) on a G4. Thanks for any help you can provide. Ken
unimplemented?
Took me more than a year or two to ask this :-) I have one ISP where I have two different accounts. Both of them gives me PM error unimplemented a dozen times a day. It has been like this as long as I remember. What does this mean? I want to cancel their services, and I wanted to know what to tell them about this. Thanks for any comment. -- - Hiro [PROTECTED] [PROTECTED] [PROTECTED]
