Re: Drew Speedie death ruled murder-suicide
It doesn't make sense to me that they would plan a trip, take photographs, spend the whole week, not leave a suicide note, then kill his son and take his own life. I think it was either an accident or they could have both been pushed. There have been several crazy random murders in national parks over the last few years. --- Kenneth Kixmoeller/fh [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On Jan 18, 2007, at 9:24 AM, Ed Leafe wrote: I knew Drew and Brent pretty well, but not anywhere near close enough to comment on this ruling. Drew Speedie death ruled murder-suicide
http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,650223251,00.html Wow, this is a real shock. I knew Drew and Brent pretty well, but not anywhere near close enough to comment on this ruling. All I can do is echo the sentiment of the lead investigator: This is an unpleasant thing, Smith said. Regardless of what we think happened, it's a tragedy to everyone involved. -- Ed Leafe -- http://leafe.com -- http://dabodev.com ___ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice. Regardless of what we think happened, it's a tragedy to everyone involved. I am not sure I mentioned this before, but I had an interview for job at Mobil Oil when Drew was working on a project there (at the time one of the largest FoxPro applications ever). I met Drew and his infant son (Brent) at a restaurant for the interview. Drew was a character and it is hard to believe that this is how they ended their lives. David L. I never met the guy but as a father of a young boy I dread to think what brings a man to that point, if indeed it was premeditated. -- Alan Bourke [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- http://www.fastmail.fm - mmm... The end is still tragic. On a side note, and not one I care to debate, I wonder if that voids a life insurance award? Some cases void amounts for suicide, iirc. SHEEP. Let's stop this thread now.
