Lew -- I know there was some sort of workaround for the LookOut security
messages so that they were averted, but I can't recall the details.
Also, not sure if it was free (but I *thought* it was?!?!?).

I'm testing blat now with the many postings from the recent thread and
will report when successful!

I've not tested this latest version, Dimac Development has a Free ActiveX
control for sending email. Find it here. http://tinyurl.com/cwzdn

I'm using a Codestone ActiveX, it does cost some money:

This may be related to the recent BLAT thread. My sendmail app which used

No, but there are a lot of other possibilities, including SMTP AUTH or
other requirements. Their support staff should be able to tell you if
they've made any recent changes.

Many tools have a Verbose capture option that will let you see all
of the validation messages that go back and forth between client and
server. I've used that in a couple of installations where basic email
was a problem to get set up.

The suugestions are a few years old, but most of the stuff I covered
in the white papers on Outlook automation and (better idea!) Email
without Outlook still apply:

I remember your papers. That's why I began to use blat in the first place. I'm
not broad siding you here, the
article was indispensable at the time. Unfortunately, blat has no verbose
option, but, since it does go
through authentication, I'll bet the isp can detect it. There have not been any
recent access changes,
otherwise I'd have to change the account settings in outlook as well.

Try -debug with the exe and capture the output.
