Re: Creating a click track
Hi John, I think the built-in click settings might be somewhat limited but I'm not sure to what extent the parameters are truly editable with VoiceOver. Frankly, if you really prefer to have an accent on beats one and four, you might want to consider just using 3/4 ant double the tempo marking. As far as reversing the high pitch for the low pitch, again, I'm not sure if that's necessarily possible. HTH, Slau On Apr 3, 2014, at 7:06 AM, John Gunn g...@tznet.com wrote: Hello, I am struggling with as the subject says. Could someone email me instructions outlining steps? For example if in 6/8 time I want the accent to be on beats 1 and 4. I know that might not be possible but just wanted to throw it out there. Also changing the default sound and the pitch. With the default sound being in 4/4 time the higher pitch is on the first beat. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. Re: My protools questions
Hello Ramie, for the most part, you will always have at least one track selected. If you are having a problem with wanting to have a track unselected then creat a new track that you don't need to use and that track will automaticly be selected. With the Shift R command to arm a track, that track needs to be selected in the track table. With you not hearing the last track you recorded when playing back a new track you recorded, you may have left the first track armed and then armed a new track so you are recording over the first track. You said that the escape command is not taking you out of the menues, give us an example of what menue it will not take you out of. - Original Message - From: ramy moustafa To: protools mailing list Sent: Friday, April 04, 2014 6:18 AM Subject: My protools questions Hi all: I started using pro tools with the help of Chris geland. Hi: I only have the PCIE cards, not the rack mount, and that wouldn't work on a mac even if you had a Mac pro tower. My opportunity to use it was in pt 10 with RTAS plugs. I did not try the optical connection though I thought of doing so with my scarlet 18i20. As I mentioned, I deffinitly plan on grabbing one. As a note, keep in mind they are thunder bolt only for connectivity obviously this can be an issue for anyone with an slightly older MB. audio interface for mack and pro tools
Hi Guys. I am upgrading my studio set up, and looking for a good sound card to run pro tools on mhy mack. Just wondering what some of you are running. I am very interested in the motu 896 mark 3 hybrid. Seems to have all the I o I need, and the preamps look good. I spoke to gorden kent about this card, and he gave me the upside and downside of the interface. But he has not used it on mack. I wonder how accessable it is on the mack with voice over. I have also thought about some of the r m e cards, U F X and UCX. also universal audio apollo. I know the pluggins are accessable with uad, but not sure about the asio panel. I've also thought about the pre sonus cards. although I don't think there specks are as good as far as the pree amps go. I am looking for as much I o as possible. e.g. 8 ins and outs. 8 mic line prees if possible, but not necessary, and a dat, and midi. There are Lots of great interfaces to choos from, but I'm very confused as to just what will give me good accessabillity with voice over. Any thoughts welcome.
