HI folks.

This article will be especially useful for beginners who are unfamiliar with
all those controls in their reverb plugin.
http://tinyurl.com/he5take

Now, a question about tip 1, early reflections. The article states:
"Adjust the Time, Attack and Slope to shape the space. If you struggle at

settling on a space that sounds natural for the sound you are treating."

Question: which reverg plugs have you used that have these parameters for the
early reflections? Most I've seen just have level and on/off controls for the
early reflections, not controls for their attack, time, and slope. Suggestions?

I guess that in a pinch, you could use one reverb just for it's early
reflections, and shape their attack with a transient shaper, their sound with
EQ, their slope with compression etc. but that's a lot of extra plugins to add
to things.

Steven slate drums question

2016-03-04 Thread Chris Harrington
Good afternoon everyone,
I was wanting to see if I can get some help with these Steven slate drums
plug-in for ProTools 12?
I installed the plug-in on my mac, and it is showing up in PT. I had some cited
help and I got the license file imported, and the base directory set.
When I insert the plug-in on a stereo instrument track, I am not hearing
anything when I use a midi controller with the program… I am also trying to
browse through the settings in the plug-in window and I'm not getting anywhere…
If anyone could shed some light on this for me, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you so much,
Chris Harrington

ElCapitan

2016-03-04 Thread Peter Bosher

Hi All,

Thanks to Matt who replied off-list to my query about missing
track-info, though it's not yet resolved, but please could somebody
just give me a quick steer on whether or not it's safe to upgrade to
ElCapitan with PT 12.4? Any down sides?

Best,

Peter
