Well, so far I just go into the track and watch the meter, but most of
what I have been doing is editing files already recorded, so I have
not had to do too much there.

question about markers

2017-05-12 Thread Brian Howerton
Hello folks,
When exporting audio multitracks out of pro tools, is it possible to also
export the marker information? I’m wanting to import these tracks in to logic,
and I want the marker information to come in as well. Thanks so much,
Brian

2017-05-12 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi John,
They seem to stay for me but pt is a bit shaky when returning to a hotspot.
I find them indispensable when tracking multi track sessions with drums bass
ect.
How do you check for clipping while tracking with your multi track sessions?
Thanks
Chuck

I just submitted a bug for the mix window tracks table not working properly
with VO hotspots, and came across this other suspected bug.
You should be able to set a VO hotspot say on memory locate 15 or 23 verse
or chorus so to speak for this example and be able to jump back to it using
the VO hotspot that was set for it.

Re: Relearning ProTools

2017-05-12 Thread Des Delgadillo
Hi Bret,

Glad to hear you’re looking into PT. It really is a great DAW and very usable
with VO on the Mac.
I’ve been using it for quite a while for radio imaging and podcast production.
I’d be glad to answer any questions you might have off-list.
I’d also recommend you take a look at these great tutorials offered by ProTools
with Speech. They really help explain the nuances of the DAW.
