2019-08-29 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi Stefan,
I also have the pro bundle.
Heres a suggestion if you don't like the parameters in the stock factory fader
lay out just "re map" them
You can do mapping for most plugs you find in PT.
PT stores your maps and you can recall them from any pt sessions or make your
custom map the default for that eq or comp or what ever.
Next time you have that plug up just take a look at the mapping options.
Hit me up off list if you want me to walk you through the process.
I've re mapped the parameters on my C|24 for most of my go to plugs.

Re: I need help with Workspace. As anyone used it?

2019-08-29 Thread peter bosher
Hi Luis,

I had to use Workspace a lot at one time, and I'm a little rusty now but
see whether this helps:

Open the default Workspace window. When you type your search-term in the
search box, results start appearing gradually, so VO-left and it will
give you the number of results.  Wait until that stabilises.   Now go to
the last table in the window and interact.  Here you can look down
through the results, and if you make a hotspot for the audition button,
then you can quickly hear each file.

Once you find the one you want, there are two ways to get it into your
session.  The quick way is to press VO-m for the context menu, then
choose "spot to edit insertion".  That will only appear on compatible
files, but even then you have to be sure it's in the right format.  The
other more reliable but longer way, is to pick "reveal in finder" and
copy it to the audio files in your session, from where you can import it
as a clip or new track.

I hope that helps a bit.

Best,

Peter

Re: To all S3-Users

2019-08-29 Thread Slau Halatyn
Right, each surface can have its own specific mapping. Clearly, the S3 has its
own map because the threshold is the fourth knob on a C24. You do have the
option to create your own custom map if you'd like. Of course, there's also the
Flo Tools Plug-in Monitor feature that'll tell you exactly which parameter is
assigned to any knob or fader by simply touching it and, further, reporting the
current value and value changes. Of course, since the threshold isn't seen by
VoiceOver, that parameter won't be spoken but the others are. HTH,
Slau

Yes, there's a section on the Flo Tools Plug-in Monitor. When the plug-in
window is open, press Option Forward Slash and touch any encoder or fader and
Flo Tools will speak the name of the parameter associated with that control and
the value. As you move the control, Flo Tools speaks the new values as they're
changed.

Amazing. I’ll check it out.

Really loving the new Protools and its accessibility.

Re: Stay Away from KM9: VOCR with Keyboard Maestro 9.0

2019-08-29 Thread Rui Vilarinho
Hello Martin and all,
Something is wrong with this VOCR bug theory.
As regards to the test you suggested I get the following curious data:
In fact, on my Mac Pro, the screen shot png file resolution definition is
missing.
Plus, the quit and rescan firmware updater buttons are also missing.
Although, now it goes the curious part:
I tested on a MacBook Pro and got the exactly same missing results.
So, the same happen on a MacPro with no display and on a MacBookPro with a
display. Both are late 2013 owith High Sierra.
Further more, anyhow, its possible to perform mouse clicks on both machines.

I only didn’t request a sighted person to tell me if the mention resolution
definition and the quit and rescan buttons in fact are visible on the screen.
 Do you have that confirmation?
Well,what this could mean?
Any thoughts?

Best, Rui

 Hello Rui!

 Sounds interesting.
Maybe things are different between Mac mini and Pro.

 Check the following:
Open your user folder in column view and turn quicknav on.
You should find a file called Screenshot.png, created by VOCR.
Press RightArrow once to enter the files informations area.
Press DownArrow until you reach "Dimensions" and after it "Resolution".
 Do you get both informations?
On a Mac mini one information is missing and that causes VOCR to fail > in
 some situations.
