Selecting audio or midi to edit

Hello Slau, I'm sorry I couldn't get this to post, earlier, I am trying to 
edit a vocal track and couldn't   get the shift key to select the audio or 
midi to  us the shift key to work..  I  selected the track I wanted to edit 
in the  track list. what am I missing? thank you so much.

Hi David,

This message did go through to the list. Composing a new message with a new 
subject addressed to the ptaccess@googlegroups.com works fine.

I don't know what's going on for you. If you have insertion set to follow scrub 
(which I think you already have set), adding the Shift modifier should do the 
trick as long as you have Waveform set as your track View and Track and Edit 
Selection linked under the Options menu. I'm putting together a document to 
help as a checklist for such troubleshooting. Keep us posted.
