Hi Steve, If I remember correctly I got slate trigger on amazon for $99.00 about 2 years ago. Joe sonar switcher has all the presets made already for slate trigger 2 btw. Another option in the same price range is logic. EXS24 is powerful and comparable to kontakt ins ways and accessible. Also logic has a built in "Slate Trigger" like duplicate/replace drum feature . Re: Accessibility of Sample Libraries; Structure Free drum kit.
Hi Steve, Heres a work around for now. Use the Structure Free studio kit and when done replace the kick & other drums with Slates trigger. The cymbals in Structure Free are close enough to use and the slate drums are good. I’d also like to add to this and reask the question about drums, I’ve played with x band, and i have not really found many great sounding kits i can use, Yes, there a few, but i seem to now be very limited in choice of good kits, Or am i missing something.
