Hi Slau,

Thanks for the heads-up! That's good news. I really like the quality
of that plug-in, it will be another great addition to the arsenal to
have assessable.

Re: Nubus Reverb

2017-02-14 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Sean,

Just wanted to let you know that Exponential Audio's developer attended the
Avid Alliance Partner Conference in Anaheim where I did a presentation on
accessibility. I've reached out to him regarding the Nimbus reverb. My
suspicion that the plug-in is authored in Juce was confirmed. The good news/bad
news is that it's the same platform that the Sound Radix guys fixed but the
version that Exponential uses is customized or, as he puts it, hacked. So, he's
been in touch with Sound Radix about how to potentially fix the issue and, if
that isn't as quick a fix, he'll be upgrading to the latest Juce version some
time this spring. So, we're in touch and we'll figure it out. It might be
sooner, might be later and he is a one-man operation but things are at least on
the radar. Just wanted to let you know.

Best,
Slau

Hey Sean. Likewise. A merry Christmas to you too. Must catch up some
time. Not used that one but absolutely love the Valhalla Vintage verb. Its
$50.00 and one of the best verbs you can purchase.

Hello Slau and All on the PT List,

First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a Happy New-year to all on
list.

Recently, I downloaded a demo version of the nubus Reverb by
Exponential Audio. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all of the
plug-in values are visible to Voiceover and are even very intelligibly
well labeled. As a bonus, there's not an overwhelming plethora of
settings; making the potential use of such a plug very reasonable.

However, when interacting with most all of the numeric value elements,
they cannot be changed using Voiceover keystrokes. Some can be
changed, but they are mostly categories such as reverb types, but no
go with all the other values that control the reverb function.

Has anyone else used the Nubus, and had the same experience? It's an
exceptional sounding reverb, and I do realize the preset can be saved
as user presets; I just like the ability to dial in parameters if
possible.

Thanks!

Sean

Re: Nubus Reverb

2016-12-21 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Sean,

This sounds like a similar situation we saw with Sound Radix where plug-in
parameters were visible but couldn't be changed with VoiceOver. Is there a demo
version of the plug-in? I'd be happy to download it and try it as well. We
might be able to sort of put them in touch with the Sound Radix guys if they're
using Juce as a platform, which many plug-in developers use. Let me know and I
can give it a whirl.
Best,
Slau
