Just a minor correction: to maximize the track, Control-up arrow several times
rather than Control-down arrow.

Re: Where can I address the following issue?

2014-02-03 Thread Marc Wagnon
Hi Stefan,

here is a way to insert a clip into a track:
- first create a new track and maximize its size so it takes the whole edit
window (CTRL arrow down a few time).
- then go to the clip/region list and select the clip you want to insert.
- enable the mouse keys, you will need to have an extended keyboard.
- hold the select key (NKP #5) and drag the clip diagonally down (NKP #1)
for about a 2 or 3 seconds, it might take a couple of try.
- your clip is now inserted into your new track and selected.
- cut it and it is now in your buffer.
- hide this track and go to the track to which you want to insert the clip
select it and paste at the desired location into the track.
Maybe one day Avid will enable clip dragging, but until then this work
around works quite well.

I only want to insert a clip out of the clip list into an empty track.

2014-02-02 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Stefan,

What operations can't you perform? You can interact with the table, select a
clip, move out of the table, go to the Regions pop-up button (which is not
labelled as a button but simply "Regions label) , click and select whatever
option you'd like to perform. While you're at it, the shortcuts for some of the
options are handy to memorize.

Best,

Slau

Where can I address the following issue?

2014-02-02 Thread Stefan Albertshauser
>Hi all,

I'd like to address the following issue: While the mouse pointer in Pro Tools
10 can be controlled to a clip in the clip list with VO + Command + F5, in Pro
tools 11 the case is not. I think, that's, why the operations in the clip list
don't work in Pro tools 11. Do you have any idea, where to address this issue
at Avid or Apple?

Thanks for help
