I would guess that you are doing integer division.
If you force one of the numbers to be a double, that may
solve the problem.

Yes, it's my case. :-[
While rebuilding high-level model, I undesignedly changed port types, which
fixed my problem.
In any case, I needed to learn what was wrong not to repeat that again.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Problem with MultiplyDivide in SDF domain

2008-06-06 Thread Nikolay Borisov
Hello, all!

I have been using DE domain model for some simulation and high-level SDF domain
model to automate experiments. DE domain model is invoked in high-level model
several times with ModelReference actor. After each execution it produces 2
output values (non-zero). However, when I try to use MultiplyDivide to
calculate their quotient, I get 0 every time. Same thing when I use Expression
or try to build high-level model ex. in DE domain.
I wonder if someone could help me and explain what was my mistake.

Yours sincerely,
Nick Borisov

Hi Nick,

Do you have a small sample model that you could send as an attachment?

Also, make that under DE your inputs have the trigger port connected.
