yup that was me, i have access to a couple of machines and wanted to

much better to fetch a useless page a couple of times.

Sorry for the lognoise...

I think that this claim says more about its author than it does about its

No, what was generally rejected was the idea that *you* could bring
more clarity to the documentation, based on the complete absence of it
in your posts essays. Basically, noone wanted docs that would
randomly degenerate into ad hominem accusations of elitism aimed at
the module authors.

Nothing is stopping you from making doc changes and submitting them
for review now, unless grandstanding is your actual intent.

Dear Alex moron number 23,

The art of writing takes many forms.

Let's take, the hallowed name Shakespeare.

Imagine, we injest his writing style into modern journalism. What is
the resulting quality? It would be condemned as the worst journalism
possible. Imprecise, logorrhea, obscure, and in general, much ado
about nothing.

On the other hand, if we apply the spirit of scientific report into
poetry, what is the resulting quality? Dry, inert, dead. A man without
a cock, a woman without tits.

You see, i had to craft my style to fit occasions. In dealing with
newsgroup morons like yourself, the proper style is to infuse insult
with fanfare.

I offer the python community complete rewrite of the Python doc. The
resulting doc would be one of the best technical writing among Open
Source community's documentations. (a fair verification can be
obtained by polling professional writers and editor community, e.g.
staff writers of Time Mag or other prestigious journals, or tech
writers at Apple or Microsoft or Google.)

Please contact me if interested.

(Otherwise, perhaps someone at google can alot his extra project to
rewrite the python doc. The complaint about python doc has turned up
now and then in the past few years it seems, but always got put down
by python priests)

It's not an exact copy of Rainer's so it may be arguable whether it
violates his copyright. Might have more luck with a trademark
argument - distorted marks may still infringe.
