  Would it be a good idea to ask UploadWizard to allow some users permission to 
upload in bulk, similar to how users need to get permission to run a bot ?

  UW only llows 50, but will soon be rased to 50, or 5000 images. (I have a 
feed of 17000 image I want to upload)
  F2C crashes the browser, after the memory is all "gone"-
  Flickrfree is just a ay to find flickr images, and then uses F2C to upload 
them.

  Indeed.  It was added to compat in 
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rPWBO64709bb2ad2951ef2f22ae2392d6a136cc46f295 
(May 2014) , which is after the core port at 
https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/rPWBC6af482621bb16875829ec0371cca49666a8c9090 
(Sept 2013), and hasnt been re-added to core yet.
  
  When porting that, you need to use `local_args = pywikibot.handle_args(args)` 
and then iterate `local_args` , which ensures that global args `-family` and 
`-lang` are parsed and activated before `-page` is resolved.
  
  Just a suggestion: if you want to check that the specified or default page 
title exists on the wiki, and give a nice error message (and `return 1`), we 
can get rid of this:
  
if config.family != 'wikipedia' or config.mylang != 'en':
pywikibot.warning('CFD does work only on the English Wikipedia.')
return
  
  Then we can set up multiple test "Working" pages on 
https://test.wikipedia.org, and run the bot in -simulate mode using custom page 
titles, either as part of normal testing, or an integrated part of our 
regression test suite, to ensure it tries to do the 'right thing'.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  A long time ago, way back before pywikibot-compat was known as compat, cfd.py 
had a command-line parameter to specify the CFD working page.  Or at least it 
did in my local copy.  But it didn't make it into -core, for whatever reason.  
Anyway, the parameter is quite useful for bot runners and also trivial to 
implement, so I'm going to re-add it.

  I will keep that in mind and stick to old changesets in the future. I shifted 
to a new one because the old one in this case was leading to multiple confilcts 
when I was going for a `$ git pull --rebase origin master`, and it was getting 
muddled up. In future, I'll resolve them instead of resorting to a new 
changeset.
  
  I'll follow Abdeali's pointers on the other queries, then.

  I have submitted a new patch for this bug correcting some of the errors - but 
it still needs the following issues to be resolved.
  
  1. In tests/script_tests.py attribute `script_deps`, is it necessary to 
change `BeautifulSoup`? If yes,  to `BeautifulSoup4` or `bs4`?
  
The documentation which follows seems to imply that the package name is to 
be taken care of in setup.py (here the package is `bs4`) while the module being 
imported (BeautifulSoup) is all that should be mentioned here.
  
  > These dependencies are not always the package name which is in setup.py.
  > e.g. 'PIL.ImageTk' is a object provided by several different pypi packages,
  > and setup.py requests that 'Pillow' is installed to provide 'PIL.ImageTk'.
  > Here, it doesnt matter which pypi package was requested and installed.
  > Here, the name given to the module which will be imported is required.
  
  
  
  2. Changing `StringIO` to `io.StringIO` did not solve the error I previously 
encountered on running `$ nosetests tests.panoramiopicker_tests`

  It depends on how difflib tags the changes.
  After the first line, there is no formatting line, so the only thing I can do 
is mark it red.
  After the second, there is format indication, in this case it indicates that 
spaces have been added (which are colored in green but not visible ...)

TASK DESCRIPTION
  `pagegenerators.PreloadingGenerator` (as well as `Site.preloadpages`) should 
aleways be disabled for -liverecentchanges option. It is exceedingly 
superfluous to make a bulk load for -liverecentchanges which waits for an 
event. Otherwise the process waits until the buffer is full to start the 
operation. This is counterproductive because that option intends processing the 
event as soon as possible.
