My question is: How can I reproduce this bug? Regards, Good question. I would add a comment asking the original reporter, How can I reproduce the defect? What steps do I need to do? The report is written from the perspective of the code, the internals of the product. It does not describe the external impact of the defect. That's what makes it hard. Note: It is certainly possible for this defect to have no external impact for us to test. If this is true, then we will ask a programmer to verify the fix in the source code. -Rob Daniel Alvaro - To unsubscribe, e-mail: qa-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: qa-h...@openoffice.apache.org

Probably Resolved - Irreproducible, since OpenOffice 3.3 was working on Windows 7 and this bug report is isolated. Yes. I usually give the user at least two weeks to respond. Sometimes a month. This is where the needmoreinfo keyword is useful. At the start of each month I run a query looking for all issues where; 1) I am the QA Contact 2) Issue is UNCONFIRMED status 3) needmoreinfo keyword is set 4) Issue has not been updated in more than 4 weeks I then close those issues as IRREPRODUCIBLE. It makes me instantly feel productive ;-) -Rob Regards, Andrea. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: qa-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: qa-h...@openoffice.apache.org - To unsubscribe, e-mail: qa-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: qa-h...@openoffice.apache.org
