Re: [QGIS-Developer] QGIS Server Dev on osgeo4w

2019-12-12 Thread Matthias Kuhn

Hi David,

Since there are server tests in place, running on linux (travis) I
assume that this is a platform specific or local issue.

Interestingly, it seems qgis server is shipped in the qgis-dev
package whereas there are separate qgis-server and qgis-ltr-server
packages for 3.4 and 3.10. Is this a difference of nightly builds
compared to regular builds or a recent restructuring of the packages?

Thanks for any hints

yes. the release are built with ms-windows\osgeo4w\package.cmd and the
nightlies with ms-windows\osgeo4w\package-nighty.cmd. package.cmd produces
several packages, package-nightly.cmd just one.

[QGIS-Developer] QGIS disappeared and now wont install

2019-12-12 Thread Shane Carey
Hi,

I am ubuntu 18.04 and everything was working fine but QGIS then just
disappeared on me. I tried to reinstall using the following tutorial:
https://www.gis-blog.com/how-to-install-qgis-3-on-ubuntu/
and updated the key to 2019.

Everything seemed to install correctly but QGIS is still not installed? I'm
completely lost as to where to go from here?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: [QGIS-Developer] OSGEO4W messing up Grass versions

2019-12-12 Thread magerlin
If I start QGIS with Grass by double clicking
"C:\OSGeo4W64\bin\qgis-bin-g7.exe" the Grass path is wrong.

If I start by double clicking on "C:\OSGeo4W64\bin\qgis-grass7.bat" the
Grass paths are OK.

On a colleagues PC he cannot start QGIS at all from the .exe but it works
well using the .bat.

Looks like the .exe files coming with the OSGeo4w version are faulty?
