[Qgis-user] How set the scale interval for groups in qgis-server settings
Hi, I like to try to use the qgis-server for publish an our bigger and more important set of about 30 layers with a really complex rendering and using the SVG as simbology. I'm study-ing the option available in qgis-server for publish this complex project. I see the qgis-server allow to define a group as a set of layers. This is complain to the wms specs. That allow to call a groups. The inspire specs will define the named-group in the wms setting. This is a more powerful choice infact it allow the user to call the group using its name Instead of list every layer in the group. But I don't seem how to set the interval of usability for a named-group. Without this option a group is callable at every scale . And this is not a good choice almost in more complex situation. Is this really a miss or I'm don't understand how to set the scale for a named-group Many thx, -- - Andrea Peri . . . . . . . . . qwerty àèìòù - ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
Re: [Qgis-user] [Qgis-developer] Another compiling error at 48 percent
Hi Matthias, Thank you for the tip, but this problem was simply lack of space in the virtual machine. My fault, sorry... Hi Jürgen, I was using the -d option because initially it was always rising errors with some libreoffice packages, and I did not remember to remove it at this time. The truth is that I was having some problems and conflicts with some dependencies: grass-dev, qgis-dev and python-central. And sorry for the crossposting, I initially thought it was a general error, and sent to the devs list, but there was no answer, and tried in the users list. After all, it seems that it is a local problem, although it occurs on multiple machines. I leave here the record for those who are faced with the same problems. Thank you and sorry for the noise. Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS on Windows 8 with GPS
We have to clarify something here. If you are connecting an external GPS, e.g Garmin Glo to you via tablet via Bluetooth then I have no doubt it will work fine as most of the time they are exposed using a COM port. Markus is talking about the internal GPS device that is built in to some of these new tablets. The internal GPS uses the new interface to let applications receive the GPS information. - Nathan On Wed, Jun 5, 2013 at 9:05 PM, Lene Fischer l...@life.ku.dk wrote: Same here - ASUS TaiChi and a Garmin Glo. AFAIK Windows 8 doesn't provide ways to expose the Location API as a virtual COM port (it's a feature that many users are asking). A solution would be the use of a driver to expose the Location API as NMEA provider. Here two examples are provided: - http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowshardware/Sensors-Geolocation-Driver-5f2a11d6 - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/windows/hardware/ff545919(v=vs.85).aspx giovanni 2013/6/5 Nathan Woodrow madman...@gmail.com Well it's more a feature then a bug, but it does need to be fixed.
