Can this be added quickly, or is there a simple way to load it on a Mac?

[QGIS-it-user] Qgis3 Grass version OSX

2018-03-13 Thread Tony75
Salve nuovo post nuova corsa.
il solito problema che ho riscontrato con altre versioni di qGis e avevo
risolto installando
ActiveTcl8.5.7.0.290198-macosx-universal-threaded
come scritto in questo post
https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/241697/set-qgis-2-18-7-on-osx-10-12-to-use-grass-7

funzioneranno.

avete riscontrato qualche cosa?

grazie

Looks like it was the matplotlib that the plugin wanted and it just
complained about both dependencies. Dug in to the readme and numpy is
included in the install via pip. Per instructions in the readme I was able
to load matplotlib using

Plugin loaded and all is well. Full speed ahead

2018-03-13 Thread Alessandro Pasotti
0. add at least one XYZ layer
1. in QGIS3 Go to Settings -> User Profiles -> Open Active User Profile
Folder.
2. close QGIS3
3. in the a.m. folder change dir to QGIS
4. open QGIS3.ini with a text editor
5. search for connections-xyz

you should figure out how it works, every connection has several
configuration lines, for example:

connections-xyz\OSM\authcfg=
connections-xyz\OSM\password=
connections-xyz\OSM\referer=
connections-xyz\OSM\url=http://a.tile.openstreetmap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}.png
connections-xyz\OSM\username=
connections-xyz\OSM\zmax=18
connections-xyz\OSM\zmin=0

The connection name in the example above is "OSM"

Hope this helps.

6. add your connections
7. restart QGIS

For those who know what you do, your work is very much valued! It's a

see this PR https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/6592 btw it's only

the code would be similar to export them in QGIS2 and you can do via

like 2.18.

[Qgis-user] Configure qgis buttons of external plugin

Dear QGIS-User,

a new question arised from an external qgis plugin such as QAD.
Do you know any possibility in oder to reduce the buttons on such a
toolbar of an external plugin?
For internal plugins it works like a charm but not for an external
plugin. Or I did not see the way of doing until now.

I have to second what Nyall said. Thanks to William for all the work packaging
QGIS.

Some feedback: installation was straightforward and painless. It took less than
15 minutes start to finish to upgrade to QGIS 3, and I still have access to
python 2 and 3, plus QGIS 2.18 and 3.0. Kudos and thanks!

Champion! I'm sure you've made a lot of people very happy with this
announcement.

For those who know what you do, your work is very much valued! It's a
shame that packaging is somewhat underappreciated and under-supported
by the wider QGIS user community :(

Besides the big QGIS release, there are a couple other big changes
in the packaging.
