Right click on layer, Export / Save Features as .. then select a format (eg 
shapefile),
 save it with another name (and default QGIS will also open it),
 and edit THAT file (s as a shapefile is actually a set of files).

Considering that I already take care of the underlying "technical
infrastructure" for the OGC compliance (server admin,
QGIS-Server-CertifSuite,
...), I propose to also take care of the formal request.

What do you think?
