Hi Julia I can't remember whether 2.x allowed it, although I think it did, however I think all 3.x versions incorporate this function. Re: [Qgis-user] Atlas printing to PDF
Hi Spring The rasters should not be a problem. If they are not referenced, QGIS will simply revert to querying you and asking you find their correct locations. Re: [Qgis-user] restore qgis project
I would try open the project file in the current version and a copy of it in the older version. Then to recover the symbology, copy/paste the layer or symbologies across from the old to the new project. Or, from the older project, save the file as an SLD, then bring it into the new project again. Re: [Qgis-user] Should my QGIS 2 Plugins be removed from plugins.qgis.org?
My note on this is that, us it really an issue to keep them on the repo, other than general housekeeping? If it's due to file storage size, perhaps there's a case for it, however to remove them without at least archiving them, would possibly create potential issues down the line. I have many projects that are 10+ years old and I keep a version of 2.x running simply to allow myself to be able to load them without concern for loss. I'm an age where data storage is inexpensive and data plugins take much time, no matter how historical, I think keeping them is the better alternative. --- Regards, Nigel Berjak Please consider the environment before printing this email.
