Interestingly exactly the same problem happens with the DOS version of Abacus (in PC Four). A customer of mine is using it, while QPC 3.31 is running. Shutting down QPC solves his PC4 Abacus problem! I think, Marcel, you provided some input here didn't you, but I cannot find your replies. Re: [ql-users] Curious behaviour of Boot Program
Quite right and apologies. I am running this on QPC2, my Aurora machine does not give this problem. Incidentally, I have found that Abacus does work with 9Mb of memory but that is because I am only using 16MB total. The only program I use extensively is Archive because I have a program that prints envelopes (A4, A5 and DL) on an Epson 740. I found that it would have been useful to count days which abacus does which is how I found the problem. Tony I would be looking at Abacus set-up; is it looking for a file and cant find it, Archive and Quill maybe set-up properly and load the file ( driver perhaps) which abacus can then find if it's fired up after them ? all the best - Bill ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
