[ql-users] Qwirc

2002-01-20 Thread P Witte

Public utility announcement:

Qwirc is a hard disk management utility for - only for QPC2 at present - to
mount and unmount QXL.win files and to set or rename the the hard disk (as
seen from SMSQ/E). It runs under the Pointer Environment, so should be less
of a hassle to get to grips with than my previous offerings ;) The zipped
package is about 40k.

Until Dilwyn gets back and I can persuade him to put it up on his Other
Software page ;) it is only obtainable via email directly from me.

It costs nothing, so dont be shy.

Well, in that case, thank you to both of you. I often wonder how I
ever managed without it.

Thank you for this. Might prove very useful for me.

Thanks Phoebus and everyone who helped
I think I have one of these riser things at least I have a gadget that
plugs into an ISA slot and produces two unfortunately it turns them
through 90 degrees, it might work with a few cables but for the time
being I am going to use two cards.
Peter reckons he can get me a card ready to plug in that will work.
I got a CD-RW drive for the PC yesterday at reasonably cost so the old
CD can go into my Q40 and then I can get round to bringing the Q40 up to
date as I have lots of stuff downloaded onto the PC that I need to
install ( cd drivers, last lot of Prowes, QCDEZE and lots more )

All the best - Bill
