SV: qmailadmin + vpopmail + sqwebmail

2001-02-05 Thread Wilson, Frank

You can't use SQwebmail without vpopmail, since
SQWebmail is made for vpopmail :)

hi,

must qmailadmin, vpopmail and sqwebmail work together?

does qmail works with just qmailadmin, autoresponder,
ezmlm, and sqwebmail installed? and without vpopmail
installed?

how can i make my users login in sqwebmail just by
typing in the username instead of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

rgds,
yee

Adding a forward to an external account

2000-11-09 Thread Wilson, Frank

Im using Qmail with vpopmail and I'm trying to figure out how to be able to
send a forwarding message to
an external account.

I have a couple of servers with Qmail and vpopmail on them, but the one in
question is diffrent from the others somehow.

Here's the case:

The domain is ermax.dk, and let's say the user is edb
The 'edb' user is just a pop account, and dosn't have any aliases.
The directory listing for that account is : /home/vpopmail/domains/ermax/edb
When mail is received for [EMAIL PROTECTED] a copy should be sent to a GSM phone,
eq: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

On my other server I solved this by editing the alias files under
/home/vpopmail/domains/domain/.qmail-fjw

Like so :

/home/vpopmail/domains/wise.no/frank/Maildir/
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

And it works just fine!
But when I tried doing the same on the other server and with ermax.dk is
just wouldn't deliver to any address at all, local or
remote.
I guess this has got something to do with the fact at there are no aliases
under ermax.dk, but is there a way to do forwarding
to a secound account remotely with just the pop account?

Resending large bulks of mail!

2000-10-27 Thread Wilson, Frank

Im using Qmail with VPOPMAIL.
My MX records look like this :

MX 10 mail.web-trade.com.
MX 20 be.wise.no.

This means of course, that when mail.web-trade.com is down, the mail will be
stored localy in the postmaster account on be.wise.no.
My question is.. is there a easy way to put all the messages in the
postmaster account into the outgoing queue, and just have qmail
resend the hole lot?

best regards,

Hi,
I'm trying to set up virtual domains with Qmail right now. I'm sure
there's plenty of documentation other there on this, but I don't seem to
be finding it. Any pointers to documentation, or help would be
appreciated.

What I am trying to accomplish is to have [EMAIL PROTECTED] go to
user1 and [EMAIL PROTECTED] go to user2.

So far, I have been able to set qmail up to allow [EMAIL PROTECTED] to
go
to user1, and [EMAIL PROTECTED] to go to user1, but not get the same
username on different domains to go to differnt system user.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I have installed qmail and vpopmail for virtual domains. But
when i
send mails to a virtual domainmail doesn't go into their
maildirsqmail reports no errors. It doesn't reject the mail.

I understand that to install qmail... you need to have a DNS
server
with your MX record set. And vpopmail will modify files in your
~qmail/control dir. but hell, where did all my mails go to?

I probably misconfigured somethingany pointers from gurus
out
there??
