What are some of the methods you guys use for SMTP auth?

Anyone using smtp-poplock for their auth?  I'm having trouble.. I can't
figure out what to use for the sub to find the IP. here is an example of my
log file

Jul 25 03:57:32 www qmail-pop3d: 996051452.150402 qmail-pop3d authenticated
host: 64.123.171.193

Anyone plase help me make a sub for this?

Autoresponder problem.

Guys/Gals,


I'm having a small problem with qmail.  When ever someone uses a form to
submit an email to a email address it works fine.  but if they submit it to
a auto-responder it doesn't work.  It doesn't put the correct field in the
FROM address so the responder doesn't know who to respond to.  I've tried
FrontPage to get it to work and formmailer.pl both didn't do it.  If any one
has any ideas on how to get this to work please let me know.

silly relay-ctrl

Ok,


Its been 9 hours of searching through the mailing list trying to figure out
why my relay-ctrl v2.5 isn't working.  I make'd make root-installed, left
the definition file alone and let it do a default install, i added
/usr/sbin/relay-ctrl-allow in my pop3 startup script, i installed it after
the /home/vpopmail/vchkpw line.  but for some reason it just still wont work
correctly.  there is a zombie processs of relay-ctrl-age.

Are there any other files you have to create or modify?

Qmailadmin

Hey guys/gals I'm currently running a Cobalt Raq4 and not having to much of
luck running qmailadmin if i just run qmailadmin from a cgi-bin i get all
sorts of ASCII characters on the screen.  If i rename it to a .cgi i get
CGIWrap Error: Execution of this script not permitted, Execution of
(vpopmail) is not permitted for the following reason: User not Privileged
Any ideas?  And the times that i didn't get the error i enter postmaster, a
domainname, and the password and I get a method POST not allowed for this
URL.  Any ideas or howto's to get this working?
