trouble injecting bounce message

Hi, I have just recently had the same problem although in my case I have to remove alot of spam that was caught in my queue and the ever growing queue was choking the system... I very brutally removed alot of the spammers mail from /var/qmail/queue/mess and the others since then the problem started. trouble injecting bounce message
The following message has appeared in my syslog every four minutes for the past few weeks: Sep 2 08:26:20 T1-IAS-2 qmail: 936278780.744319 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later I am relatively new to qmail, so can anyone tell me where to begin to solve this problem? For the last week, I've had this message recurring in my log files every 2 minutes (and 4 seconds!) It sounds fairly straightforward, but *which* bounce message, to whom, etc? 1999-06-23 10:59:28.533289 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later 1999-06-23 11:01:32.553240 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later 1999-06-23 11:03:36.573619 warning: trouble injecting bounce message, will try later It doesn't seem to be affecting mail delivery (At least, none of my users have complained...), but obviously *something* is amiss... Run qmail-qread and look for a large message. Large enough, in all likelihood, for a second copy of the message to be too big for the free disk space. In such circumstances, I have usually resorted to shutting down qmail and removing the offending message by hand, then sending mail to the message's sender and intended recipient explaining what happened and why. Perhaps you should consider creating /var/qmail/control/databytes to avoid this happening again (RTFM qmail-smtpd for a description). - Harald
