Re: [qmailtoaster] badmailfrom question
Oddly enough, due to the formatting, self-promotion, and style, this was the only message from this group ever to be categorized as spam, and dumped in my spam box. Funny. Re: [qmailtoaster] CHKUSER dropping username with '
A good start would be following proper syntax for user names - the 'apostrophe' is not a valid character in an e-mail name. Check between the 'O' and the 'Connor' That's the offending character. Re: [qmailtoaster] CHKUSER dropping username with '
I think he allready figured that one out.. seeing the topic has the ' in it .. The wiki can help you here.. http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Chkuser Or just disable the sender address checking by adding SENDER_NOCHECK=1 to your tcp.smtp file. [qmailtoaster] Whitelisting only for one domain
Hi guys, I need to whitelist some domains for only one of my domains... I know if I whitelist in /etc/mail/spamassasin/local.cf whitelist from domain1.com whitelist from domain2.com etc. it will whitelist for all my domains, but I only need this to be done in one. Can it be done? Thanks Terius - QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted http://www.vr.org - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: [qmailtoaster] Whitelisting only for one domain
Thank you anyways. And even though I don't use spamdyke, thanks for the support to it anyways. Returning to spamassasin, is there a way that the end user can create the whitelistings for his/her account? Thanks Terius Sam Clippinger wrote: Ooops -- disregard my entire response. This is usually done by adding mysql support to spamassassin and then setting GLOBAL defaults, domain defaults, user settings I recomend you read spamassassin readme and faqs for more pointers has I haven't implemented this in qmt... [qmailtoaster] Hello all
I am trying to setup a qmailtoaster server with spamdyke and am running into a small issue when trying to receive from a qmailtoaster server that does not have spamdyke here is the message that I get back. TLS connect failed: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol; connected to 74.218.24.12. I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long. Any ideas what would cause this? Thanks Q
Re: [qmailtoaster] CHKUSER dropping username with '
That would be incorrect. According to the RFC a single quote is absolutely a valid email character. Basically every printable character except for ()@,;:\.[] (of course @ goes in the middle). Valid characters are: !#$%'*+-/0123456789=? ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ^_ `abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~ This is according to RFC 822.
