Ganesh, Every time I have had similar problems with slowness, it has been caused by one of the rbl's that I was using. (My problem was slow smtp connections when sending. Sometimes my mail clients would time out while waiting to send.) This may not be the source of your problem, but you might try taking rbl servers out of /var/qmail/control/blacklists one at a time to see if one of them is causing your problem. Obviously, if you are not using blacklists, this would not be your issue. J.T. Hi all, Is there a possibility of creating a web archive of ezmlm managed mailing list? I guess ezmlm-cgi should do something like that, but I don't know how to use it? ezmlm-web seems to have at least a web interface for configuring lists: https://systemausfall.org/toolforge/ezmlm-web/ Has anyone used that? Does it have a web archive function too? There is also ezmlm-www, anyone using that? [qmailtoaster] 451 dns issue with chkuser, but cmd line seems fine?
All -- Greetings, and thanks for the qmailtoaster setup. I love everything about it thus far... except that I seem to have muffed something up and cannot send any mail. The issue: Any mail sent through the toaster via squirrelmail (the only setup I have at the moment) fails with: Requested action aborted: error in processing 451 DNS temporary failure (#4.5.1 - chkuser) What's particularly frustrating is I don't seem to be able to find what, if any, log is catching / noting this error. I've looked at all the ones I can find under /var/log/qmail without any luck. I dug around for common issues suggestions. Most seem to ask for confirmation that things work from the command line. Trying that, I can confirm that from the command line a dig mx target works, and sending mail from /bin/mail also works. (as I ponder this fact, I wonder if this should be pointing me to something other than the toaster? yes? no? thoughts? :) ) ANY pointers would be greatly appreciated, be they 'do this and it'll go away' or 'check this documentation, it might help.'
