[qmailtoaster] root / daemon system generated mail forwarding
To forward system generated mail to a qmail account, is it a requirement to first create a similar vpop account prior to forwarding ? ***Note - Mail DNS is hosted on the machine. Under /var/qmail/alias I created the following files: .qmail-anonymous .qmail-mailer-daemon .qmail-postmaster .qmail-root which all has one entry pointing to a valid vpopmail account. i.e mailto:j...@server.com j...@server.com /var/qmail/control/me reads ns.server.com #hostname -fqdn ns.server.com However, it doesn't seem to work correctly as per the following example: Received: (qmail 2725 invoked for bounce); 16 Feb 2014 23:25:01 - Date: 16 Feb 2014 23:25:01 - From: mailer-dae...@ns.server.com To: postmas...@ns.server.com Subject: failure notice Hi.
