If you are worried, do it on a test box or a vmware machine and see
how that works first.

It is pretty straight forward, but it never hurts to do a test first.

I'll be setting up a test box to do some of the upgrades on at the end
of the week, and performing the upgrades over the weekend. I plan on
writing a how-to for upgrading to the newest packages, and will probably
write a script to perform the bulk of this for you if you want to hold
off a few more days. My test box is being used for some mailing-list
type testing right now (patch for chkuser to come from Nick in the near
future for this).

How do I upgrade the toaster packages? I installed it on Mandriva LE2005
and it has been working fine, but I know that virtually all of the packages
have new builds, and I am sure some are for security reasons. I have been
afraid to tempt an upgrade, because this server has customers on it, and I
had enough trouble getting it to all work in the beginning.
