To Dave and all of the quad list- a gift from me to you. You may type in the word quad at the end of the order form under the coupon code and you will receive $2.00 off every order purchased until October 2, 2006. This is not spam- just a request from Dave (a dedicated quad-list member); so I thought I would pass the savings on to everybody.      Tim c5-c6 (quad-list member for many years)      Whoopie Kat Jewelry (64 Products Now Available!) Hi Liz,     I agree.  A person can't tell what the pressure is under them without being mapped.  Good advice!     With Love, CtrlAltDel aka DaveC4/5 Complete - 30 Years PostTexas, USA Miss Liz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: get your ass pressure

Hi Greg,     The seat looks a lot like my Spenco Pad mattress over-lay, and I've used one for nearly 20 yearswithouut problems, so it should be a good seat.  http://www.medicalproductsdirect.com/spencomtouct.html     With Love, CtrlAltDel aka DaveC4/5 Complete - 30 Years PostTexas, USA     I found the Spenco Chair pad

[QUAD-L] Seat Cushion

2006-08-28 Thread wheelchair

It will vary from station to station, but normally one can be transferred
to a sitting arm chair with the sensor pad, for testing.  I'm sure that in
special cases the sensor pad can be placed under one while they are sitting in
their chair without a seating cushion, to get a clean evaluation.  The
sensor pad may be wired directly to the computer or it may be a wireless
kind.  Your buttocks looks different when you are laying vs sitting.
Hope this helps.

well in order not insult lot people, OMG that chair is hugeGreg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:Anyone use the Bounder
H-Frame chair? It looks cheaply built to me, but it has the big motors and batteries. So it can go 11 mph and last a long time. But I prefer front/mid wheel drive for indoors. But now that I go out a lot, I’d like a faster chair that can go further. I hope to see if they can let me try one out. Though the company my insurance uses does not have a big show room of chairs. Thanks Greg

[QUAD-L] PlayDay

2006-08-28 Thread RollinOn

Hey people,
Saturday was our annual PlayDay at DeGray and we took out a bunch of kids and some adults to the lake to ride jet skis and tube rides.
Once a year we invite people from nursing homes and rehabs to have some fun instead of being cooped up.
It was great to see a smile on a kids face that doesn't get to enjoy these little things.
Teen Challenge came out to help out again and none of this would happen without their help and what great bunch of kids.
