Yes, we do help her quite a bit but she is completely on her own. Her family
has been here, in the past 15 years, maybe six times. But she does not make it
easy. There were times when Pete helped her with something that was already
half broken and when it broke she would make Pete pay for it to replace it.
This makes Pete extremely reluctant, understandably, to help her with anything
this is why I'm surprised he is helping her with the bed.
When her van was not working and she needed a ride I did not give her one.
Because I knew in a blink of an eye she would sue me in a heartbeat without
hesitation. It's just the way she is.

Yes, and we both have a lot of compassion and empathy for her.
I first got to know her when she was first in rehab, I was her Peer counselor.
I followed her to her home to visit her and that's when I met her indescribable
horrific BAD mother of hers. To get her out of the house and away from her
mother I got her into a wheelchair accessible college that I went to. I even
gave her my backup power wheelchair because you had to have one to go to this
college. Pete and I packed her up and took her to college because her mother
didn't want to have anything to do with her. And when she flunked out of
college I got her into the apartment building where we now live. In order for
her to get into the apartment so quickly her mother had to sign a letter
stating that she was not allowed home. Her mother couldn't wait to sign the
letter, so fast that she didn't even read it before signing. Her father lives
in the next date is remarried and has younger children of his own, but does
call her once a week.

Thanks for the advice. I have used latex extension to me for leg bags in the

using the tubing which comes with a bed bag and lo and behold it works pretty
darn well. It's about as durable as the old mouth sleeves. I'll let you know
how durable they are and whether they cause me any problems.

Thanks again for all the advice.

Yes, and we both have a lot of compassion and empathy for her.
I first got to know her when she was first in rehab, I was her Peer counselor.
I followed her to her home to visit her and that's when I met her
indescribable horrific BAD mother of hers. To get her out of the house and
away from her mother I got her into a wheelchair accessible college that I
went to. I even gave her my backup power wheelchair because you had to have
one to go to this college. Pete and I packed her up and took her to college
because her mother didn't want to have anything to do with her. And when she
flunked out of college I got her into the apartment building where we now
live. In order for her to get into the apartment so quickly her mother had to
sign a letter stating that she was not allowed home. Her mother couldn't wait
to sign the letter, so fast that she didn't even read it before signing. Her
father lives in the next date is remarried and has younger children of his
own, but does call her once a week.

We have given her the number of the company for the bed but she doesn't want
to call because it cost $200 for them to walk in the door.
D.A.W.N's birthday was April 15 she told me that her friends were having a
birthday party for her but she didn't feel good so she didn't go. I asked her
why didn't her friends come to her and she said They are all users, they
just use me for my van.I have NEVER, EVER seen her with one single friend in
the 20 years I've known her.    Bobbie

If he can't fix it, he needs to tell her how to get it fixed and that if she

no one.  Where are her friends, maybe somebody from bingo can help her.

BINGO, BINGS, BINGO. She waste's so much of her SSI check on BINGO
week after week, month after month, year after year!
Dawn has a 2002 Mimi van with 130,000K on it. I have a 2001 with about
35,000K on it.
Pete's going up tonight to try and fix her bed, and if he can't I'm sure she
is going to expect him to put her to bed when SHE wants to ... NOT when it's
convenient for him.
