I somehow lost touch with Mike Batista C1 on a ventilator. I think he lived in

It's awful when you lose touch you don't ever hear from them again.

I have been a member of the list since about 1993 I think. That's about when I
got my first computer. I was injured in 1991. I use to really keep up with the
list and everyone. It really helped me a lot in my early years. Now I don't
join
in as much do to most topics being the same things we have covered several
times. The list has and will remain I believe a very useful tool for all of us
quads. Someone that use to post a lot was Sean something or otherwise known as
Quadius I think. He was from San Diego and a very nice guy. If I can be of any
help to another quad I feel I must as it was other old timers that helped me.
Keep up the fight.

years.

One was QuadPirate and another was BluzQuad.

Then there was Keith who was from New Jersey.  A couple of years ago, or a
little longer, Keith and I had corresponded off list.  Being longtime
correspondents, I am worried about him.  This is because he had two brothers
who
were helping him but they were beginning to get burnt out and he was worried
what was going to happen to him (as far as care) and I have never heard from
him
since.

Anyone remember those guys?  Are any of you named above still lurking?

Hello all,

Over the last year (give or take) I began giving some thought as to how many
of us that joined the list many years ago have stayed and, therefore, we
were so much younger (many of us in our 20s or early 30s) then and now so
many of us that have remained regular or semi-regular posters are now in our
mid to late 40s or 50s. Woah!

In addition, I have not noticed any new, young members join the list. Or,
perhaps they have and are just lurking and/or they are much younger and
therefore we seem like old geezers to them. LOL LOL

Having said that, I recently came across some old e-mails from user names
that used to be on this list but that I have not heard from or seen posts
from in years.

One was QuadPirate and another was BluzQuad.

Then there was Keith who was from New Jersey. A couple of years ago, or a
little longer, Keith and I had corresponded off list. Being longtime
correspondents, I am worried about him. This is because he had two brothers
who were helping him but they were beginning to get burnt out and he was
worried what was going to happen to him (as far as care) and I have never
heard from him since.

Anyone remember those guys? Are any of you named above still lurking?

idea. Jim is a pioneer and developed the Quad-List among several other
notable discussion boards and a website. Since then, several other people
and companies have established programs and discussion boards as well. Not
as good, but just as well. Some have gone, many have stayed. We continue to
catch new people weekly.

Nancy, at least the one I knew, was not part of this list but from New
Mobility and powerquad.
She passed a few weeks ago from cancer.
She was an incomplete quad with a delightful spirit that will be missed.

Naughty Nancy and Breezy ?? Yes I believe. The was once a woman by the
name of Andrane in New York Area with a very young daughter at the time who
was disAbled and then she had a messy divorce and became a single mom with
little to no support. I remember that she threaten her life and her child
as life became more difficult for her as a single parent.
