I'm just now getting to all of my backup emails. I have been sick with
a severe respiratory virus/infection since early in December. I wish I
could say Christmas is great for me, but all I did was sit and watch
everyone else eat. At least my family was with me.

I'm feeling considerably better now and hopefully if I take it easy

Happy new year to everyone on the Quad-list. I wish everybody a safe

but I'm not sure how many inches yet. The roads have been treated
fairly well. I am just staying home watching New Year's celebration.

OMAGOSH, Joan, where do you live???  I'm freezing just reading your
email..I'm basically a hermit when the weather drops below 70 degrees.  I
can't imagine having that kind of weather.  Beautiful to look at I'm sure

We’re staying at home, it was 1° this morning and the high today has been 27°
so
that’s a good reason to stay home, plus 5 inches of snow on our mountainside
makes getting in and out of our property somewhat difficult.  My van is not a
four wheel drive.
Curry chicken, lobster and twice baked potatoes for dinner and coffee and
bailey’s Irish for toasting, can’t get much better.
Thanks Glenn for the prayers for healthy, and I just replaced my tires and now
my batteries, so I will be good to go.  Happy new year to all of you, and may
each of you find what your heart desires or at least peace within yourself.
Joan
