Re: [QUAD-L] SCI Recovery Center in TX

2007-10-17 Thread John S.
I do wish you the best in your future. I hope you take what you learn here and
put some accent on moving crips into jobs and away from home, or nursing homes
or thinking voc. rehab. will do it. A lot of the people that lave rehab aren't
ready to leave home or an institution. They haven't had the training they need
to live on their own. I would like to suggest that you follow people for about
a year after leaving and getting independant.

Bbest Wishes,
john

Congrats on your new endeavor and I wish you well. One question I have
is... what sets your endeavor
aparts from places like Shepard, Craig, Kessler and Rehab Institute of
Chicago. I also couldn't help to notice that you didn't have female therapist
on
staff, from your pictures. I'm sure that you know where I'm going with this.
Why would anyone want to travel out of their state, down to Texas for your
recovery program. Do you accept Medicare and Medicaid assignments?

Best Wishes
W
