Re: [QUAD-L] TDX5 Rear Springs?
To be honest with you, I just simply gave up on the whole thing after three years of working on it. The vendor gave absolutely no support. I am just sticking with what I got for a while and I will try again once I see whether they have made any improvements to the new Peachtree. For a short while I also had the model you are talking about. I experienced the same problem when I entered my van backwards. I have to tilt back in order to get into my Van because I am just too damn tall, but when my front wheels left the floor of the van he was quite this concerning. Thankfully I was still trying to get used to the chair and never signed for it, therefore, the VA still owes me a new wheelchair one of these days. Big Problem… When going up the ramp in my van, the chair tips back, lifting the front wheels off the ground. Then I come back down and hit my head on the van's top door jam. Not padded… I called and they said it can not be adjusted, but the coming down part can be set slower. Anyone else have this problem and fixed it? Thanks, Greg
Re: [QUAD-L] TDX5 Rear Springs?
Hi Greg, Is the wheelchair new? It doesn't sound very safe. Have you talked to the manufacture of the wheelchair? it doesn't sound legal and something they should fix if the dealer won't. You could easily have an accident.. it is so easy to do by accident. I wish I had an answer for you. Good luck with your search for an answer. Dana ** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Greg, sounds pretty hazardous. It would seem that your wheelchair isn't the correct one for you. Were you evaluated for it? can you get a refund? Dan T. Greg, Why not enter your van by backing into it. I back up my ramp & have no problems. Lindaf
